Agreed and if they do not sign Alaric Jackson, which I believe they will I would draft two.Iffy in McClendon, I'm drafting at least one tackle this year personally.

Yeah if we don't resign AJ that pick to me moves up in importance. Right now I'm mostly thinking CB unless McVay falls in love with a WR there.Agreed and if they do not sign Alaric Jackson, which I believe they will I would draft two.
I think Jackson will battle Limmer for the starting C job next year. You've got a good point.
But we've seen the demand and price for interior lineman rise in recent years. I think, to your point, I may be wrong about it being in the offseason... but I think he'll get a ton of preseason snaps next year. You keep him around and when someone develops a glaring need for a guard, you trade him. I think of the Ernest Jones situation in this case. The Rams traded him when there was no real demand... the Titans traded him to a team that really needed to solidify the position.
I'm hoping that can get them up to a 4th. We'll see.
McClendon is a right tackle only.Iffy in McClendon, I'm drafting at least one tackle this year personally.
Given the limited cap savings if he is cut and carrying a bulk of salary if he is traded, keeping him and letting him battle for the starting C position makes the most sense.Maybe with Snead. But the Rams gave up a third for Dotson. Jackson looked very good against the Seahawks.
I think they should keep him and let him battle for the center position. They could get the most for him at the trade deadline or end of camp.
Please beat the Vikings for us! Unfortunately playing Philly doesnt look good for us.Given the limited cap savings if he is cut and carrying a bulk of salary if he is traded, keeping him and letting him battle for the starting C position makes the most sense.
He can play, he's not an all world G, but, he has been good.
He is just always injured.
The Steelers acquire the Rams' 2024 fourth-round pick and 2025 fifth-round selection, while the Rams receive the Steelers' 2024 fifth-round pick and 2025 sixth-round selection.Maybe with Snead. But the Rams gave up a third for Dotson. Jackson looked very good against the Seahawks.

How healthy is Love? Please beat the Vikings for us! Unfortunately playing Philly doesnt look good for us.
Well - it doesn’t look like there going to try ? Mcvay said before the game he was excited to see what he will do next season.Depth is what you want ?I think the Rams will be able to get something for J Jackson this offseason.
Boy, I had that one a bit wrong didn’t IThe Steelers acquire the Rams' 2024 fourth-round pick and 2025 fifth-round selection, while the Rams receive the Steelers' 2024 fifth-round pick and 2025 sixth-round selection.
That was the trade for Dotson.
Gave a froth for a fifth and swapped sixth round picks.
A very small price indeed and nothing like giving up a third round pick for a player.
