We won’t try anything with 34 ticks left unless they kick it out of bounds. We get the ball 1st in the 2nd half

Could have been just a FG if they didn't let f'ing Dalton run all the way to the end zone.

34 seconds and 1 timeout? A QB with a huge arm? A kicker with a solid 50+ yard leg.

Uhhh what did I just witness??

Yeah, that hurt. Looks like the D is playing careless and a little undisciplined.

Lucky to be ahead. Defense is not good and offense is mediocre. Hence they have outgained us.

That early TD got us thinking maybe the lack of preseason playing time wouldn't be an issue. Now things have settled down. Bears aren't a bad team. We shouldn't be surprised we aren't leading by more.

McVay and Morris need to make adjustments for the second half. We need to be better in the redzone. Defense needs to tighten the run defense and they need to pressure the QB more than they have.

It's Week 1. We'll see how they grow. These guys didn't play at all in the preseason.
They didn't play in preseason last yr either... And that's a coaching decision...so not an excuse.

And I understand that the newness is an issue, but the run game is needed and it shows here. Not saying they won't get it going, but in a game where it isn't, it won't matter much who the QB is when playing a legit D.

Would really like a bigger back added for depth and short yardage.

My man, use the ignore feature. I don't see his posts because of it. It weeds out the people whose relentless negativity ruins your vibe.
Thanks for the advice. Never used the ignore feature before, but I definitely should for the GDT threads. Only one or two posters that drive me nuts with their constant negativity.

It's Stafford's 1st game as a Ram after years as a Lion. I bet he's had the nerves going. Let's see how he progresses, as he is definitely off to a decent start.
