At 230 he seems to be big enough to fill in for Reeder. I didn't think he would be fast enough for Youngs roll

Good question.......very might be he is considered to be versatile enough to be the game day back up to both inside LB'er positions.

IMO Jones is far too small to be an effective MLB'er filling in behind an over 245 pound Reeder but he sure is not as good as Kenny Young or Travin Howard @ this period of time at playing the Move post either.

Young has been playing both of the inside LB'er posts. Last Sunday when Rapp took up an ILB'er post when Ramsey would move into the SS post, Young moves into the MLB'er post.

Rookie Jones would be attacked all day going up against a team like the 9ers where he will be smushed early on most rundowns. He's just way too small & light to perform that assignment all game long.

There is a good reason DC Morris has him on the bench.
I don’t know? We’ll see how this plays out.I saw him get totally squared up & hit hard by David Edwards. He probably needed some of AD99’s smelling salt after that.Had cobwebs for sure,so I understand in one sense what your saying.
I’ll say your right for now,but E. Brown is not a bad option at either position, because he has an excellent feel for the ball(game). He is going to be more right than wrong & knows how to get to where he is going.
I think Howard is fast & more physical, but size I would. It agree with.Troy Reeder got caught up in playing at home.I think Sunday will be a good test at we’re the LBer group is in terms of quality.

The value for Tutu isn't this year, rookies Redshirt mostly on this team. We have Desean for what, 2 years? we will need a starting caliber speedster on a budget then, rookie contracts provide that. At that point we will most likely be facing cutting one of our starters as well for money vs production value or letting Van Jefferson walk the next year, we will be needing someone to step in.

I would not be surprised if we drafted another wide out at 4th round or higher again in the next 2 years.

This is a case of thinking ahead again, that's what our front office does, and its absolutely awesome!

I think the Rams will keep the Kupp Woods pairing for a while. Unless injury or something. Or one of them insist on to much money.

No snaps for Burgess, JHarris and EJones surprised me. Getting snaps for Hoecht was a bit of a surprise for me as well. But other than that, pretty much what I expected.
Steady as she goes grasshopper. Patience is also a form of action.
