Yeah I despise shock jock genre shows....

In general I can't stand Skip Bayless however... though who knows if he really thinks any of the things he is saying...

The regular season is about laying points on people and racking up enough wins to get to the real season. Postseason survival requires defense though, and teams with strong defensive production in the regular season tend to do pretty well once things tighten up a bit on the way to the SB. So there is some truth in saying the Rams are not there yet in terms of being the team they need to be in order to run the table.

Defense has to get better. I think it will, if we get Talib back in a reasonable time. But it is a concern, and I have no problem recognizing that.

Good thing here, though, is that we're 4-0 and in the driver's seat for home field. And there's time for the staff to get these guys settled down if they can avoid further injury and get some guys back to who they were.

Oh and all that aside, yeah, Bayless can suck it. Dude is a douchenozzle.

Skip is a Cowboy's homer, and he has never forgiven the Rams for beating his Sean Lee-less Cowboys last season...He whines like a little girl about that Todd Gurley catch and TD run that game...lol

I thought Skip liked the Rams this year in previous shows.

As if it really matters. Not sure why some team has to be the best 3-4 games into the season. I have concerns about the Rams defense. The Rams are one of the handful of teams that have a good chance to make the Super Bowl.

You almost got me. I almost hit play until my brain finally kicked in and said, "Woah Stu. You are about to hit play on the biggest asshat, douchebags in sports talk!" Thank you little voice in my head for looking out for me. Cheers to you.

1. We seem to be atop the NFL...so if he’s not sold on us, who is he sold on?

2. These people are the same ones annointing the Chiefs and their awful defense. Hmmm.

Kind of Predictable (shock jock sports media controversy) It does gets attention like it or not.....

I have realized over the years that some of the more popular/television viewed media Icons go against the grain to keep their brand fresh and controversial.

It works for ratings and discussions but I know many of them just go the opposite way of perception/reality to keep the viewers interested and bickering about them keeping their name in the news and making them more prevalent etc..

Skip was big on the Rams last year but it's not the thing to do this year, so to spice up controversy and keep the ratings high he's taking a new narrative to get folks riled up etc..

Don't think for a second that several of the things he expresses on TV match up with his true honest view in reality. Like most things in life, drama sells tickets on television.

Skip knows what he's doing and he will keep on doing it for ratings like many of the others in the NFL media circles..
