Yeah. Pipe dream. Though it would be fun to see, I can't imagine we make that kind of move. Our offense would be really hard to stop with him out wide.

I do think Whittington will be a pleasant surprise and really think he is a McVay type receiver. He does the dirty work and is a big boy.

I think bringing in Adams would really set Whittington back, which would be a shame. I want to see what this kid offers

Adams has been fun to watch over the years. At this time it doesn't make sense to get a deal done. Injuries and some salary pick-up by Vegas during the season could be possible. I'm sure Snead will keep an eye on Adams. Right now the Rams look solid at WR with Whittington in the wings having potential as stated by @RamFan503

Not at that price. He's been a very very good WR but yeah with his salary and the fact it's likely a 1 year rental I'll pass when you look at the whole picture.

They would have to eat some of the salary and then it depends on compensation. He's still top talent, BUT he's getting older and not worth the current pay he's getting. But man it would be fun to see those three on the field together.

Tutu can be effective if used correctly. What I don't get is why McSnead got rid of Tavon Austin then drafted Tutu. Similar players, IMO.

The rumors got started by someone proposing the possibility. Nothing came from either the Rams or the Raiders. And the rumors take off. I seriously doubt its gonna happen. Unless the Raiders just want to clear up space and will take a day 2 pick. But I haven't seen or heard any indication they're willing to do that. They have a playmaking tight end. A top tier receiver will make life easier for a couple JAGS at quarterback.

I could see them trading for a WR before the trade deadline.

Yep. This all started from a "reporter" from the Bleacher Report pulling this out of his ass. Of course in a slow NFL news period, it grew legs even though it has zero basis besides DA is a WR playing for what is widely considered a non-contender and McVay was allegedly going after Bowers. I haven't even heard rumors that the Raiduhs are considering shopping the dude.

I'd be ok with a trade for a big time wr especially with just kupp and puka under contract next yr.

What I'm not on with is the age. If you want to swing a deal then I trust you but I go tee Higgins I go some other we not happy and being shopped but younger someone who could step up should coop be forced to step out. Love Adams thinks he's great but if youth is where we are then stick with acquiring youth. P.s. Tee Higgins I do like but was just primarily an example and honestly if nobody wants to spend there I'd still scoop up hunter renfrow I think he'd be a steal very similar yes but he does get open and can return if anything happens

Because we had already established that Tavon was terrible.

With Tutu, at least he couldn’t be any worse and he had (and still has) the potential to be considerably better.

Tutu is on the verge of busting. He is standing on that cliff. So he's not really an element in any Rams decision making with regard to bringing in another receiver. It's not like if a receiver came available that the Rams would start hand wringing about whether Tutu is going to have an opportunity after his addition, or whether they need a wideout given that they have Tutu. He in fact won't even enter the conversation because he is a non-factor. Three years in a McVay offense and his biggest season (last year) he put up less than 500 yards and got replaced by a journeyman.

I would of course love to see him step it up this season. But let's quit acting like Tutu is some potential gold mine we are sitting on. Potential drives money and team decision making, however there is a point where you know a guy's talent is simply not going to translate at this level and in your scheme and the Rams are damn near there with him.
