Should the Rams fire Morris by the bye week if the defense doesn't dramatically improve?
If they do move on do you feel confident on in-house talent to be the d coordinator until next season?

The defense has been improving - we are currently 3rd in the nfl giving up 80 qb rating to our opponents.

we are 8th in scoring defense.... we need to continue improving.

But ya no real reason to fire anyone.

We've only improved because we played terrible teams let's be honest here

It's a very long season. I'd only fire him at the end, and only if his defense performed so poorly that there needs to be an intervention.

The defense has been improving. Both scoring allowed and passer rating allowed keep me from saying we should fire him.

Also the fact that he's coordinating a new scheme. That is on McVay and we're gonna have to be patient as he masters it.

So stay the course. Let's see if he can get adjustments made and get the unit playing at its best for the stretch run.

The Swift play was on Ramsey, he admitted as much.
Do the Lions score on the opening drive if not for that? I doubt it.
Execution, including tackling, were the big problems.
Man.. they REALLY need Williams and Rochelle back for the Titans game.

How exactly would firing the DC in the middle of the season make our defense better? Just someone with less experience will step in and continue using his system for the rest of the season. Nah, we are stuck with Morris for the season. It'd be really really dumb to fire him mid season.
