I was in the Rams locker room suiting up for the Super Bowl. Not only were the Rams in it, but I was playing for them :)

Nothing worth reporting from last night but years ago I had a doozy. I was having a conversation with Mike Martz and he told me he was sick and would no longer be the Rams HC. I started a thread on this at RRF. Eventually what I dreamed happened and myself and the other guys were blown away. Too bad I can't dream the lottery numbers ahead of time. :snicker:

I have the most random dreams that have nothing to do with real life.

Last night? I was on a plane with a talking dog.

I never remember my dreams, neither does the wife (at least that what she tells me)

Can I just say that I was more than a little scared to poke my head in on this thread? :D

Only me? Right!

BTW - I love talking dog dreams. I've had a few of them. My dog always wonders why I'm looking at him funny in the morning.

"Seeing a dog in your dream, indicate a skill that you have ignored or forgotten, but needs to be activated. Alternatively, dogs may symbolize intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed. If the dog is vicious and/or growling, then it means some inner conflict within yourself. It may indicate betrayal and untrustworthiness. If the dog is dead or dying, then it indicates a loss of a good friend. Alternatively, it represents a deterioration of your instincts. Dreaming that a dog bites your on the leg, suggests that you have lost your ability to balance aspects of your life. You may be hesitant in approaching a new situation or have no desire to move forward with your goals. Seeing a happily barking dog in your dream, symbolizes pleasures and much social activity. If the dog is barking ferociously, then it represents your habit of making demands on people and controlling situations around you. It could also mean unfriendly companions. Dreaming that you are buying a dog indicates your tendency to buy your friends or buy compliments/favors. Alternatively, it suggest a need for you to find companionship. Dreaming that you are dressing up your dog means your attempts to cover up your own character flaws and habits."

The realm of dreams is fascinating. Sometimes what we watch, listen to, or think about shows up in our dreams. Recently I watched an episode of The Walking Dead right before falling asleep. I won't be doing that again.

For the most part, dreams are our subconscious thoughts mixed in a blender and then spat out randomly. It's the way nature keeps us in balance. I liken it to smoke and soot blowing out the chimney. Everyone dreams but some don't remember.

Here's a website link for lucid dreaming. They teach how to control your dreams. Don't know if that's possible but it is interesting.

Japanese scientists claim they are close to being able to record our dreams.

Pretty soon not even your dreams may be private anymore. Japanese scientists have learned how to interpret what you're dreaming about by measuring your brain activity while you sleep. This data can then be plugged into an algorithm that reconstructs your dream so that it can be played back for you when you're awake, according to the Smithsonian.

In other words, scientists have invented a sort of dream-reading machine. Before long, you may never have to worry about forgetting what you dreamed about ever again. You'll be able to simply play your dreams back after you wake up in the morning.

What if I'm putting lipstick on him? I KEED I KEED.

Anyway, it is usually my dog or a dog I don't own sitting there and just kind of talking normally. Last time he just answered a couple questions like he was the voice of reason. It has happened maybe three or four times but is a very short little blurb of my dream. But maybe it's telling that my dog is wiser than I.

Btw if you want to have really wild dreams take the hormone Melatonin. Yikes!

Ambien gives me really weird ones, every once in a while I get a really vivid sex dream though, and it's pretty awesome... Except I always wake up before the best part.

A while ago I had a dream I was in some fancy hotel with Olivia Wilde, right on the Mediterranean (looking off the balcony we were over a cliff and the water was probably 20 feet below us), it was pretty cool. Then she starts getting undressed, gets in her underwear, turns around and bends over, and starts taking off her thong and then BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP my fucking alarm went off. Ruined my entire week.
