Could not disagree more on that comment.

Myers 57-yard-FG earlier in that game would have been good from 65 yards.

Over the last two seasons, Myers is 18-of-24 on FGAs from 50-yards-plus and has connected from 59 and 57.

Hardly a Hail Mary; and if your prayers are being answered at a 75% clip, please say a prayer for me.
What are his percentages from 60 yards and longer? He's made 1 FG in his career from 60 yards or longer. 61 in 2020 vs the Rams. You say, his 57 yard FG would have been good from 65 and yet his 61 yard attempt was short AND wide right.

His 61 yard FG in 2020 vs the Rams

His 61 yard miss this year

Notice his 61 yard FG just made it over the crossbar and the one this year landed a yard past the end line....(middle of the large "E"....read: Short as well as wide right.) So IMO, it was a prayer. That's a guy who had enough leg ONCE in his career during a hot night in L.A. . I gotta believe if he could make 60 yarders + with regularity, he'd have more than 2 attempts. I'll stand by my statement the Rams won not because Myers missed a prayer but because they harassed Darnold and picked him off 4 times.

What’s his percentage on kicks over 60 yards?

*edit: found it myself

You guys are killing me here.

Just looking at Myers career stats on Pro Football Reference, which lists his season-long FGs for each of his eleven-year-career. In 4 different seasons (2015, '20, '24, '25), he has made a field goal of 57 yards or more.
In 5 other seasons his longest field goals were 56 yards (three times), 55 and 54 yards (once each).

He is a quality long-range-PK. In that very game, he made a 57-yard-FG that would have surpassed 61 yards.

The game-winning attempt was Not a Hail Mary in my opinion.

Rewatched the first game and we can run on these dudes and get open.

Just will need Stafford to be calm and on target.

Lots of fourth down desperation by them at the end to make an otherwise not so close game close

Those missed blocks by the TEs were killing them.

Man this feels like a big game. If we win, we have something like a 93% probability of getting the first round bye.

If we lose, we could be in a three way race with Seattle and the SanFran-weirdoes for seating.

Neither of those teams will be able touch us in the playoffs though, especially if we get back WR1b and CB1a.

When we won the Super Bowl we had just the right seating, and we didn`t get the bye.

Seem like this team is mature enough to handle a first round bye. It would give Devante that much more time to recover.
Yes but the Rams won the division so after the slackers lost with the #1 seed, we hosted the NFCCG. As a wild card there’s no hosting unless it’s a lower ranked wild card.

Just rewatched it. You aren’t lying. The TEs kept missing the SAME block on the SAME play.

Adams had a big drop and Nacua fumbled. The OL had a couple of penalties The offense did not show their A game.

…but what a punt!

One of my top 10 favorite Ram games of the last 10 years. Gurley busting the long TD run on third and forever…it was like the Seattle secondary was playing in quick sand how effortlessly he glided past them. We made them bite the pillow that day. Need to do it again Thursday night.

Yeah, that left side of the hawks O-line could get leaky.
Left guard Zabel is a rookie who hopefully should be hitting the rookie wall. His PFF grade, for those who follow that sort of thing, do not scream all-star. Pair him up with a backup left tackle and things could get fun.

Kid's had his moments, sounds like a future star in the league. Seems like he can be got in pass blocking right now.

HATE that it will be a rainy, windy game. Stafford struggles in weather or at least has. I feel a big Kyren game in this one.
True, Stafford isn’t his best in cold rainy weather. How is Darnold? Will our DL get after him? We can apply plenty of pressure. I think we may have the advantage here. It’s super important in this game to limit turnovers. I hope we run the he11 out of ball. Play control ball. Don’t fumble. That will be the deciding factor. “Ground chuck” approach. That and short throws to our TEs. Wear them down and harass Darnold.
