I'm going glass half full.

This team was better than the '21 SB winner. We peaked mid-season and the Seahawks peaked at the end.

Losing the top seed was the difference. Even at their peak, we would have beat them today on a neutral field.

Draft will fill our holes and Stafford will come back to lead a better team next season.

I can't root for either team in the SB, but I expect the Seahawks to win. I guess I'll root for Cooper Kupp and let the chips fall where they may.
I disagree. 21 team was better. D line, LBs, secondary, special teams were better in 21 team. The current team has a slightly better offense and that's it.

Next season:

I do not want to see Kobie Turner playing pianos or V8 making dumb jokes/trash talking unless they’re both playing at an all-pro level and we can maintain a top 10 defense.

The quirkiness should be tolerated from Puka only who’s continously performing at a high level in big moments. Say what you want about the 2021 team, it was all business first and likeability 2nd from all of our stars. That goes for Stafford, Kupp, AD, and Jalen.

We got rid of Jones and Bobby Wagner.....WHY? And replaced them with landman who is slow
Feels like Landman's play dipped a little after he got paid. So yeah I'd definitely have ILB on the list for midround pick priorities.

We need a lot of defensive additions for competition on top of the holes that are obvious. That side of the ball's been the redheaded stepchild. Time to prioritize it.

Disappointing is a massive understatement.

It’s sickening having to listen to have great and amazing the Mike MacDonald Seahawks are.

And you know what sucks? They’re an excellent team that has next to no weaknesses in all 3 phases.

You look back at some of the moves we’ve made, from letting EJ walk, to Cooper Kupp (even though I don’t totally disagree with that one but he also just sealed the game against us, ironically).

Our DBs are a disaster and so are our special teams. I don’t love the LBs we have either.

We have draft capital, we’ve got cap space. But games like these just sting. I had a bad feeling once we muffed that punt. It was an encapsulation of what has been wrong with this team all year, losing games we should’ve won because we simply aren’t that good on the other phases of the ball.

We can only hope McVay learns from this. I still believe McVay and Stafford should be 2x SB champs but I also thought this was the year we’d prove that.

In short, this entire season was a missed opportunity. Greatness on offense mean nothing when your defense and special teams are a major liability.
Could have paid Kupp Tutu's money and just had him serve Gatorade on the sideline.

The difference in speed of the secondaries and LBs was very noticeable.
Rams have to play soft cause they are slower than fast/tricky recievers/RBs like Seattle has.
Reverse is true on O. Great O, but teams play us tight because none of our weapons are THAT fast.
And playing against a tight D makes everything harder.

Shula/McV called a very passive D counting on mistakes. None happened. Rams made the mistake and lost.
Wish the O & D play calling were more unpredictable. Seemed to me like Seattle was better at that.
Hope Stafford is back.
BC
I think Stafford will be back but I'm tired of the Raheem/Shula defense where DBs let the WR catch the ball in front of them and hope they screw up somewhere along the line. Seattle's WRs were wide open all night long whereas ours were usually making contested catches. Time for this front office to really think about the linebacker position and secondary. Offense is fine.

Lol ok. You talk like we were never that good and then expect us to win a superbowl. Gotta keep it consistent my man. If we're laying eggs all season, laying an egg in the post season should kinda be expected, right?
We were good. Good enough we should have won a SB. But we beat ourselves in all 6 losses. Whether it was missing FGs, bad play calling, muffing a punt, etc. We always found a way to lose in those 6 losses. This team could and should have won a SB.

The ST mistake after not being able to close out the first half was 14 points. It really comes down to that.

That is exactly what I was saying in the chat. We had the ball with 1:33 left in the first half, two timeouts and a 3 point lead. The result: We give up 7.

I don`t even understand how that is possible.
