We're very fortunate to have McVay for sure!

I guess I'm in the minority, though. I had high hopes going into the season - prior to the injuries and slow start.

This team didn't overachieve my initial expectations. I expected a playoff appearance and a 1st round win. I didn't expect to be a strong SB contender though so we exited around where I originally had us going.

I expect that they will make major, all in type moves, to be a strong SB contender for Stafford's likely last or second to last year.
Right. I think most of us had your same expectations. But of course 1 and 4 to where the went is a totaly different achievment. Maybe not bottom line, but it made the out come more special. Probably makes next years team better.

We're doing all of this with a lot of rookies and second-year players. We still have the best damned HC/GM combo. Imagine how good we're going to be with another solid draft class under us.

We gave up 174 yards on 3 plays, and the Eagles still only average 5.7 YPP.

If we clean up a few things on defense, this is a Top 5 unit, next year.

16 sacks in 2 playoff games, insane.

Wow, that is an insane stat. Usually, big plays skew the average to something really high. But in this case, our D skewed it back to something very pedestrian. That's a testament to how well they played outside of those 3 plays.

I hate when the season ends but I can't fathom placing blame or pointing the finger. We have a great coach and organization that keep us competitive.
This was a great year and this team played their asses off.

This reminds me of Rocky I. The Rams were a true underdog that arrived in Philly and took haymaker after haymaker. No starter on Philadelphia was ranked below the 50 percentile of starters with the exception of Hurts.

The Rams went round after round and basically lost as time ran out on them, similar to a split decision.

I am thinking we come back next year with better training and maturity to beat Apollo. Who’s with me?

This team has shown that we as fans need to practice more patience. More good is to come in the future for sure.

Next year is the year. And it's already been mentioned in Philly that the Eagles have what looks to be a brutal schedule next year. They, along with Washington, play the NFC North and AFC West. The Eagles extra AFC game is a road game in Buffalo. Meanwhile we play the AFC South & the NFC South...

Has to be an all in year with Stafford being a year older. Give him some more weapons and shore up the defense a bit, and this group is going to be really good next year.

Can't wait for FA to start!

Been a great year - especially so, after the slow start.

However, 16 SACKS in 2 playoff games speaks volumes. This D is going to rock next year!!

The amount of injuries this team faced to start the first 4-8 weeks was insane. To come back yet again from 1-4 just shows what this team is made of. We all have seen a decade of really bad football in past years. To be a fan of a team and organization that continues to put a winning product on the field says it all. They need to make a few changes but I see no reason we aren't right back in the playoffs next year too.
Sad it's over like you all are but great year none the less.

It was, maybe, the most interesting Rams season I can remember. Going from 1-4.. then turning it around. Beating 2 14 win teams... struggling to score points at the end, but managing to pull off the wins.. pretty amazing.

Here's what I'm celebrating most... because I consider this to be a building block year...

The growth of the defense. I think Shula is the real fucking deal.. and will be a HC at some point. It's very hard for DCs to make the jump.. so I think it will be a couple more years before anyone poaches him. In the meantime.. the defense kept getting better and sooooo much of it is young and returning.

Evans and Karty. Damn.. these two REALLY stepped up over the last part of the season. Evans was a weapon.. I think Hekker may have had more distance.. but Evans was just dropping DIMES. He netted 46 yards per punt in the playoffs.. amazing. Karty turned the corner, imo.. and is as talented a kicker as the Rams have had.

Puka is the real deal.

The Rams running game is the real deal and they don't abandon it anymore.

Sean McVay and Les Snead are on the same page and I think both of them want to ride this for a few years. I feel like they're building a roster and trying to figure out when to pull the trigger on a big trade.. or trading up big.. for their next QB. I don't think it's this year.. but REALLY think that, after one more killer draft.. they'll make a move for the next QB.

It's been fun.
