Jerry Dunphy is/was a long time newsman for the ABC affiliate KABC iirc.
I just meant as sportscasters. I remember when both Jim Hill and Fred Roggin were new.
As an aside, I remember seeing Fred Roggin at the Improv in Santa Monica. He dabbled in stand up. Was pretty good, too.
