Yeah, it’s not like Shanahan has a history of dominating McVay or what these two Seattle games would have looked like without the Seahawks coughing up the ball 7 times.
Yeah we blame the refs (and I'm game for it because fuck em) but this is really a rules thing. They technically called it correct, but man it's insane they can blow the whistle, signal the play dead and then say it isn't dead lol. In hockey, if the whistle blows the play is dead and I really think they should treat it that way in football too.
I think Michaels is just getting old. He makes snap judgements and runs with them. I doubt his acuity more than his integrity.
Puka needs to stop pissing in the wind. It will always come back at you. We all did it when we were young, but this is a battle that will only make things tougher for him and his team. He needs to grow up swallow his tongue.
Being right has no bearing on this game. Winning is all that matters and the league is unforgiving, and the refs are human and hold grudges.
I noticed the female ref a bit too much. And that’s not a good thing. I disagreed with a couple of her calls but I’m a Homer.

That is absolutely how it works in the NFL. Whistle blows plays dead end of discussion.
First thing that comes to my mind is the bogus "illegal downfield" on the touchdown. The d' lineman pushed Dedich downfield and that was shown, which is -4 pts. Wonder why they didn't review that??? It was a scoring play ad easy to see. YOU PICK UP THE DOGGONE FLAG!!!
I get so angry that not one play used Tutu...all that speed and you can't get the guy involved...especially late when the Seahag DLine was so aggressive. They could have burned them easy. USE EVERY TOOL IN YOUR TOOL BOX!!!
What a terrible time for the ST to fall apart.
It ain't the end of the world because the Rams are in...but now, to take the division you gotta get help.

To be honest I didn't hear no whistle until somebody played a video here, and I'll give Michaels the benefit of the doubt... he could have misspoke or really didn't hear a whistle.
Moving forward McVay can let his players know to go after the ball even after the whistle is blown. The officiating this season has been extremely subpar. I would dare to say half the refs have NFL betting apps and involved in playing fantasy football.... which to me has been a curse to the NFL.... it can sway anyone's decision from making the correct call.

So, how do you explain your position the Rams can not win it all, don't have "it" given the fact that no team in the NFL is even close with wins vs the teams with winning records ?
It does not make much sense to the rest of us. I know what I see when I look at the TV. Its a very young team with LOTS of talent everywhere. As long as Mathew Stafford is behind center we have as good a chance as any team in the NFL.
And with two 1sts it will only get better.
When we reload at QB one day the Rams will still be a playoff team. Might take a season but as much as we rag on McVay with these kinds of losses, he is the best coach in the NFL. Best GM and owner in the NFL too.
That makes it the best time to be a Rams fan EVER. And the numbers show it.
I like our chances.
And this explanation does nothing to clear up the league's position either. I ends up ignoring the fact that when the whistle blows, players stop playing. Charbonet doesn't make "a football move" towards the ball. He casually picks it up, and looks for an official to toss it to.

Still can’t believe that collapse. On the bright side - probably means we will get to watch the Rams play one more playoff game on their way to the Super Bowl.

I don't agree with this. The offense didn't let up.....the OL, with two backups, started getting beaten up front. That is not a surprise over a long game with a ton of possessions. Losing Dotson certainly removes a physical piece of the running game. But, if you look at the play calls after...
