It really pisses me off when McVay doesn't keep the gas on the pedal and Shula plays so soft instead of attacking when we need to.
You waste almost 600 yards of offense. Just develop the killer instict on both sides of the ball already.
I didn't like the two straight run plays = however hard for me to criticize it that much.

Up by 16 with 8 min - running the ball would seem like the right play.

Also the holding call on Jackson was atrocious. Defender ran right into his chest. Can’t call holding there. Need to see an arm bar or uniform getting stretched.

I also think we were fortunate not to get some flags in our kick return game. We looked like the Spag rams on ST.

Insanely angering game. We had no business losing that. This is the best Rams team on paper in a very long time. Better than the recent Super Bowl Team IMO. But I am not sure if they can win this year. Special teams are maybe the worst in the NFL and we struggle to close out games. Yet another loss that "should" have been a W. Losing top seed and home field is big. But I do think this team can win from anywhere, so I'd trade top seed for finally playing clean football. Do that and I can't see anyone beating them.

There are still way too many games to be played to try and guess what our path will be. I’m skeptical how GB looks without Parsons. Chicago’s defense isn’t good and they haven’t really played anybody. Who knows what happens with SF and Seattle. Maybe Carolina will jump up and bite Seattle next week. Prime let down spot.

Regarding the whistle on the 2 point conversion backwards pass.

They can call the "clear recovery" rule whereby a clear recovery, even after the whistle, gives possession at the spot of recovery. In this case, the end zone.

Yes, but he hadn't recovered it yet, and the players stopped playing because everybody believed the play was dead, including the refs who whistled it dead. There is some discretion allowed in case a bunch of dudes are scrambling for the ball, the ref erroneously blows the whistle, and then somebody clearly recovers it. But this isn't that. Nobody was scrambling for the ball. Even Charbonnet was only walking casually over. Bullshit call imo.
