I’m more worried about kupp missing the game than blockers ... I think fox is fine in replacement of brockets .. we need coop on O
Brockers 2021 cap hit is near 10 mil. Fox has looked really good this season. Just saying!

I haven’t looked at the stats either but I don’t think there is much drop off production wise at least when fox is in for brockBrockers 2021 cap hit is near 10 mil. Fox has looked really good this season. Just saying!

Don’t get me wrong I love brock .... if he wants to play his entire career with the rams then I’m down ... but he will want to get the most money he can (and I don’t blame him) but if he wants to stay he may to take a pay cut especially when you can get same production for cheaperI hate the way this league works sometimes. A guy like Brockers should get to play the entire productive part of his career for the same team. I hate the way the cap squeezes guys like him out of a team he loves.
Our longest tenured Ram and imo the first piece in turning our franchise around. I love Brockers and like Saffold, we were lucky to get him back.
Saffold... dammit I wish we had him still
While I understand what you are saying, any player can sign any deal. If they want to stay with a team, they can sign a team friendly deal. Nothing is stopping them but their own choice.I hate the way this league works sometimes. A guy like Brockers should get to play the entire productive part of his career for the same team. Yeah I agree with that I just wish this scenario was less frequentDon’t get me wrong I love brock .... if he wants to play his entire career with the rams then I’m down ... but he will want to get the most money he can (and I don’t blame him) but if he wants to stay he may to take a pay cut especially when you can get same production for cheaper
Imagine this team getting everyone back for that big game in Seattle. If that happens it's gonna be a big boost for them.
As it is we're in a very nice place IMO. No expectations (Rams have not been good in games where expectations are high this year) and nothing to lose. Just a lowly wildcard who may be getting a group of excellent players back all at the same time.
So let's enjoy all the hoopla around the Seahawks and all the talk about them and Wilson in the media. They deserve it as they won this division too. And meanwhile the Rams will be where I prefer them anyway, as a dog. Win or lose this one is gonna be fun.![]()

We have to run off tackle. Running behind Blythe is not it.Aye, I feel pretty good about where we are at currently after my expectations were destroyed the couple of weeks before. Whitworth coming back will be the biggest boost of all. Noteboom has been good in relief but our run game noticeably suffered with out big Whit in there leading the way. If Whit comes back 100% I would not be surprised to see us take a ground game and rumble down hill at opposing defenses all the way through the playoffs.
Agreed. I think this has been Brock's best season to date. He's matured into a team leader with excellent snap-to-snap production. The 9.8 we are paying him or whatever he has more than earned.Well, Brockers did sign a team friendly deal when he was UFA last spring. He had signed for significantly more elsewhere, then took the pay cut when that deal went sideways. Not sure there's all that much cap savings being it will be about a 4 mill hit to get rid of him, 9.8 mill to keep him. So who replaces him? Fox? Maybe, but he's UFA himself so is he going to cost less than 5.8 mill per?? I'd like them both but if I had to keep one over the other, I'm keeping Brockers all day, every day
Yeah that's right had a brain cloud going on or something last night. Think it was a bong cloud but could have been old age.Isn't he just under covid protocol?

Good question. Does seem the two top 2019 draft selections have had their issues with injuries this season. Rapp has only started 5 gms after starting 9 last season as a rookie. Henderson does look to have established himself as injury-prone issues his first two seasons. Appears neither will be available to help this team this season in the playoffs. RB Henderson does appear on the injury lists often now. He & Akers give me some serious concerns going into the 2021 season with Brown heading for UFA'cy in a few months. Maybe The 2 UDFA's can be effective healthy RB's in the future.I wonder if Rapp is going to be back? That’ll be another huge boost, along with Whitworth, Krupp, and Brockers.
Not sure anyone here would step up to argue with you. It is now obvious that Austin Blythe should NOT be our starting OC in 2021 if we want to have a running game in our offense. Not really sure what will be planned for the future @ OC. Rams have Brian Allen for one more season under contract. Mentioning Allen to be in consideration will sure get a rise out of many here. Sure took a long time for him to get healthy. Rams really do not have any other pure OC's.We have to run off tackle. Running behind Blythe is not it.
Agree this OL's last quarter of the 2020 season has been trending downward when it should be going the other way. Highly ineffective current OL situation that has to be addressed in the offseason if the Rams want to return to the Western Division Champions. Kromer has been unable to deliver a running game late this season. I do think McVay's 3 RB's would have to shoulder some of this situation too along with his poor play calling.Definitely, I don't remember what the stats were exactly but I remember before Whit got injured seeing that there was a huge difference in our average yards gained when running to Whits side compared to the right or up gut. Whit is a road grader and him and Edwards seemed to have a really good rapport working together. Looking forward to seeing lanes opening up again. No offense to Boom but he just isn't as physical at the point of attack.
I wonder if Corbett could handle the center position? They should definitely try and let Evans/Brewer/Anchrum or a future draft pick start RG. I think Blythe is infecting Corbett and Edwards with his shitty play.A few have suggested for a time now for consideration of moving RG Austin Corbett to OC in 2021...I believe this suggestion has some merit now. Rams do have an abundance of possible RG prospects in David Edwards (who started @ RG during his rookie season), Bobby Evans who is more RT than RG was a 3rd rd draft pick is not needed @ OT if OT's Whitworth/ Havenstein & Noteboom will be here in 2021. There is also Chandler Brewer who was a starting RG in college should return back in 2021. Going with Edward/Evans/ Brewer as the OG's for 2021.
I would not have many issues if the Rams were to plan on a Corbett/Allen at center
