I wonder if Corbett could handle the center position? They should definitely try and let Evans/Brewer/Anchrum or a future draft pick start RG. I think Blythe is infecting Corbett and Edwards with his shitty play.
One of the reasons that Corbett had so much press on him moving to OC coming out after a college career @ starting LT...was just how smart he was.....its said that he was studying to be a future doctor after the NFL.

Corbett would have 2 seasons as a starting OG with the Rams.....should be enough experience to assist him in the transition in 2021. Early this season I was against any consideration on this ideal, but since the OL was not improving it makes good sense to move in this direction & try to find a solution to this weak OL.

They definitely need to do something because Goff is not the type of QB that can take a team on his back without alot of help. He needs solid protection and a solid running game. This way we can finally see if he can recapture some of that 2018 magic.

Agreed. I think this has been Brock's best season to date. He's matured into a team leader with excellent snap-to-snap production. The 9.8 we are paying him or whatever he has more than earned.

Not gonna lie here either... I was concerned the way all that went down. He's had some down years so I wasn't sure how he'd respond with the payday but the guy has delivered. Problem now is they are probably gonna need to figure out what to do with Robinson but never know he might still impact things sure would be nice.

The emergence of Seabass and improved play of Gaines makes having Robinson at Nose seem unnecessary. Getting Brockers back at a high level does also.
Hopefully A’Shawn with a full offseason can justify the signing and outplay someone and get more snaps. Right now it’s looking like a cap mistake.

I wonder if Rapp is going to be back? That’ll be another huge boost, along with Whitworth, Krupp, and Brockers.

Rapp has been out too long to suddenly appear and have much of an impact. I think he’d have very limited snaps if any.

I was on the Corbett to center bandwagon, but I am off of it now. His play of late has not been good at all.

I like JJ3 and Fuller out there better,Rapp is a box guy,end of sentence. Imho

And our Center had the best grade of the O Line last week but again and again Note gets
gets probs, WTF.

Boom has not scored much over 70 in just but 1 game and Whit has scored over the 80s again and again.

Plus Whit knows how to call a game time line.Jmho

Me Too! However, the Rams will need Rapp to be ready for the 2021 season to be the starter going into his 3rd season. He certainly needs to greatly improve in his overall pass coverage skills to be able to replace the vacancy left by the departure of JJ III.

RG Corbett's last quarter of this season has dropped off rather steeply IMO. He is missing blocks & not as effective in his pass blocking. This should not be the case for this 3rd yr OL'er but I did notice he has been wearing 2 HD knee braces on his legs that I did not see earlier.

I thought Blythe played better against the Cards than the two previous games. But that middle of the OL is in a total fail mode in opening holes in the running game. It's a real shame that our biggest running threat is a backup QB. Rams will not go far in the playoffs with no running game & Goff @ QB. It is what it is.......

I'll still maintain what I said a few months back that Noteboom here after the regular season has ended .....Noteboom needs the reps & the experience to get better. He is far from a finished product IMO. He will also need to spend a great amount of time in the offseason getting a lot stronger if he is going to be the Rams' future starting LT after Whitworth retires.

Your a Good Poster, in Fact Very Good. jmho with all due respect. Note will never ever Reach Whits overall level Never. Whit scores 80 85 90 plus at the age of 38 39 etc etc over and over again and Note breaks 70.3 or so once, Hello he's not the answer..

Gonna say this I have a real freaking Bias towards Whit, he;s Fu@#@@ing off the charts for his age, hell the age doesn;t matter He;s still Elite just look at His Play...........

Also Fuller and Burgess are so much better in Coverage than Rapp, like I posted before, him being drafted where he was, ah No.

i don't know how this post became a discussion on our ol but here is my 2 cents. i don't know if it is old age or something else but my memory isn't what it used to be so i don't know who the bills were playing about 3 week ago . anyway i watch them and the difference between ols just jumps out at you. if we had their ol we would be almost unbeatable. their pass and run blocking is just awesome. anyway if you compare our ol to theirs it is obvious that we need alot of help. i have questions about boom's run blocking, hav's pass blocking, blythe's strength, cobertts smarts and whit's age. i want an ol that i could run behind and i'm to old to run anymore. i would like to see us get at least 2 ol maybe more depending on compensatory picks. oh and by the way i give change for those 2 cents.

I do not disagree with your opinion on Andrew Whitworth in any way. He was an outstanding very effective performing LT before his injury. On par with Pace but much better longevity!

The issue is his time playing in the NFL is coming to an end. There is a good chance that Whitworth will not play another NFL game after this Saturday. That' was the subject of my post. I have never claimed that Noteboom would be another Whitworth, never have & never will. I should remind myself that Whitworth was not a starting LT in the NFL until his 4th season.

This Ram Org does not have another real LT'besides Noteboom & Whitworth. Noteboom at this time in his 3 season career appears to be unable to improve his playing performance with real game snaps. NOT a good situation for this Ram team with Goff @ QB.

In conclusion, I would think the Rams are going to look elsewhere in the upcoming offseason to find the future starting LT & it will not be Noteboom as he is today.

Yeap they both should play, Whit has a good chance to.

Let's see. Kiser, Boom Ackers Edwards all are questionable.

Goff imho is out.
