To be fair, at least Nick Foles had a last year. It was kind of subpar, but it was a last year. That's less than can be said for Bradford, who would literally only be getting paid for preseason looks.

Sam's going to do what's best for Sam, don't think that just because you took a chance/were loyal to him that he's going to show you any loyalty in return. Enjoy your one year rental Kelly.

That's all u see on this damn site Bradford Bradford Bradford. I thought this was a rams site

It does get a bit tiring to see everyone constantly fawning over him as if he actually did anything here, but hey ho, were going to see Bradford threads after every single completion he makes for the rest of his life, best to embrace it, or not to click on the threads. That is unless the mods can come up with a way to give you an option to block threads if they contain a keyword.

We have a QB under contract who is looking like the real deal. Thats good enough for me.

I think the issue with Sam is his agent. Why isn't anyone talking about him? He's the guy calling the shots for SB.

Chip was trying to get a discount, I think that would be pretty common knowledge at this point, and Bradford is obviously gambling on himself, and may also, not way any distraction during the regular season. I see no harm, no foul, either way.

We signed Foles to a pretty decent, prove it deal, before the season started, props to us. And if Foles works out, it will be better, and easier for him get a better deal. He is obviously, betting on himself too.

Where is this "constant fawning" you speak of? Some examples please?

Full disclosure: I was glad when he was traded because I didn't want to go through one more season of watching him hold a clipboard on the sideline while the team toiled away with yet one more backup QB.

That said, any news on Sam Bradford this season will be of interest to most here and we will post it for that reason. If someone is tired of it they can avoid clicking on the thread.

Sheesh, be a little more dramatic. Where is this fawning you see, because I've been in multiples of these threads and it always goes the same way.

A single Bradford thread shows up. People start talking about Bradford, as fans of a team that traded their starting QB of 4 years are wont to do. No real bias to either side, there's people that wish Bradford well and didn't really want to see him go or people that are happy to see him go.

Then without fail a handful of people will jump in talking about how everybody's practically blowing Bradford and they need to get over him already despite the fact that the guy hasn't been gone for more than what.. 6 months or so? They start going on about how they're forced to see this as if a crazed gunman ran into their house and yelled at them to open every Bradford thread that may come across them. Then everybody responds to them telling them to settle down and then they don't wanna settle down and then it's a big long thing.

Like PT and 503 said, what's so hard about not opening the thread?

We get it, you're over Bradford. That's cool, and you're free to be over him, but you don't have to come into the thread, but please don't feel the need to come into the thread and tell everybody how over it they should be and calling even the act of speaking on the matter fawning over him.

The Iggles were still 6-2.

So I'd take that subpar everyday of the week.

Yeah I know, the whole they sucked without Foles part.

Still, that doesn't change that his completion rating was in the toilet and a TD to int ratio of 1.3. I don't expect Foles to be 2013 good, but his 2014 isn't going to be acceptable either. Not when our team doesn't have a McCoy(yet.) or Maclin to bail us out.

I understand that but we do have our defense to do that.

Also, he can't be any worse than Davis and Hill..

There's been 12 Bradford threads since the start of July (or at least threads with "Bradford" in the title, there's a few which spring to mind which I can't find through the search engine), 90% of posts fall into the fawning over category for me. I'm not going to call posters out by name, because that's petty BS I'm not interested in getting involved in.

Honestly it's like Kardashian news for me, I don't need to know that one of them has just taken a dump, just like I don't need to know every detail of Sam Bradford's life, but it's easily avoidable, and it seems a lot of people are interested in it, so there must be something to it.

As I said in my original post
or not to click on the threads

How about first you get off the fawning over BS and then use your own advice of not clicking on threads that contain the words Sam Bradford yourself if it is so tiring. Seriously, saying that everyone is fawning over him or that there is some constant barrage of Bradford threads is garbage.

Bradford has interest to Rams fans. It is pretty obvious to anyone why really. We spent a freaking 1st overall pick on him. So whether you like him or hate him, it is likely to be of interest. I am guessing that is why the both of you clicked on this thread. Protest too much?

Question, is fawning as basic as not saying you hate him or as simple as wishing him well and not disliking him?

Also if you can't see the difference between people talking about the guy who was the starting QB for 4 years and stopped being such only 6 months ago in comparison to Kim Kardashian then I'm going to go ahead and say you're more than a little bias.

Tell me how this is literally any different than when every thread was about the RG3 trade or SJ39 leaving?
