Yogi could keep you entertained with fresh euphemisms and his trademark contradictory phrases that just didn't add up but made you grin involuntarily. He is missed already.

I am a diehard Yankee fan. I love the icons and Yogi was one of the best because he was a great player and a great personality, but above all he was one of the most personable and down to earth Superstars that there was.

He lived a great life.

My wife's father was a pitcher way back and Yogi was his catcher when they were coming up through the ranks.
