Ankles are a beech. Hope it heals up.Well lucky me I went out for a 5 mile run today and rolled my ankle 1/2 mile in. I am hoping it won't be to bad as I have rolled my ankle before but this one was in full stride so it's a bit different. I just hope I can get it enough rest for the tough mudder on Saturday.

When's the mudder, this week?
Yeah, rest up for sure. Back to back hard efforts take their toll.Dieter,
Mudder was this past Saturday. I actually was able to get through it without injury. I had that sucker tapped, compression socks, and ankle brace. I was able to pull out an old pair of Hoka that had the extra padding I need to help absorb shock. Not the best shoes when doing a trail run but they worked out well. The biggest issue was all the holes that were on the trail. I am not sure how people didn't break an ankle. I got through all the obstacles and had a great time. I am sore right now but I am no worse for the wear. Now I need to rest up for my half this coming Sunday.
Glad to hear ya got thru the Mudder OK Goose. They are 12 miles, 12 obstacles correct?
And then you follow it up with a half the next week?
Dam, you are one tough hombre!!
I think that the TM really help me loosen my ankle up. I am going to run a 3 miler today to see how it goes. I know that I am not going to set any records on Sunday but I am just going to take it slow and really try and enjoy the run which I haven't always done.Yeah, rest up for sure. Back to back hard efforts take their toll.
I should have taken that advice myself and am now paying for it
