You like this!!!
Fisher is the head coach. It is his responsibility to hire staff and draft to develop a QB. He has not even come close.I'm surprised that he thinks Fisher SHOULD develop a QB. That's like saying Martz can't develop corners.
It's not his forte', man.

I think RJ was saying the the Rams had the RGIII trade but their record never improved.
I'll leave it at that.
i would like to be perfectly honest here. after he said that i stopped listening to anything he said about any player. how could you respect his opinion after a statement like that?
.
He's not awful...but I don't blame anyone for thinking it's outrageous for Fisher to get an extension. He's an average overall coach but he's been extremely mediocre here.
I do. There is logic in allowing him to see the team through this move. They are going to have a very difficult time dealing with everything on their plate from moving and still try to do the day to day coaching responsibilities. The difficulty wont stop after this season. Nothing will be settled. Players are going to struggle with daily routine and adjustments and that is a big deal. Athletes, especially pros entire life is about routine. Fisher has to give them as much normalcy as possible. Changing a staff through that would be foolish. Once they are settled, and all the players have homes, the camps are set, the routine set. Sure then they could look at wether Fisher should stick around. But that is at least two years from now IMO. Maybe even until they have the new facility finished even. If Fisher hits on a QB by then and starts making the playoffs Jaws will be eating his words. If not no one will care.
He's either good enough or he's not. Keeping him for the sake of continuity is not acceptable imo.
This is a different situation. Bad time to switch staffs. The Rams are in purgatory right now. I don't want a new staff trying to takeover through the move. Besides I think he is good enough and better than half the coaches in the league. He just doesn't have a QB.
Foles
Which has been his problem for about a decade now. Getting hard to have confidence in his ability to find/develop one. Rams are in purgatory right now...but how much of that is because of Jeff Fisher? Look at Arizona, Seattle, and San Francisco. All had quick turnarounds because they hired the right head coach.
Well, he picked up some Foles gold. You can say the same for Rg3 right? He looked good his rookie year and I'm sure alot of teams would've killed to have him after that season, but he turned out to be a piece of turd anyways. Can someone explain to me (because I see it a lot) why Foles get used as an excuse for Fisher? It's like he was some 3rd string QB who he was forced into playing because he had no other option, not a QB who Fisher traded the equivalent of a second round pick for (assuming the Browns offering their first rumour was true) and then wanted to lock up long term.
Yes he sucked as a QB, but he was the guy Fisher wanted to be our QB long term.
Maybe two of the three have good qbs and pretty good defenses, those coaches got good inherited really talented teams compared to the crap or shall I say worse than crap team that Fisher got.
He had to gut the whole team. I didn't see any of the three teams with the quick turnarounds doing that. All they had to do is add a couple of pieces.
