2-3 minutes per pick @TheDYVKX ? Not much time to talk about each pick or shop for trades. Let's see how it shakes out. We are still missing the key agreement. Participants.
Being you are so generous with the 12 hour rule, any GM who misses their timeslot should be out. Can't let these slackers hold us up a second time. Either Alan chooses for them or the other GM's should vote until a player reaches 3 picks. jmo. We'll be lucky to finish this before the real draft starts. It too us 27 days to finish 4 rounds last year. I'm hopeful we'll get in 5 rounds in less time this year but we'll see. If we don't have it soon I doubt well ever have it. If we can actually get enough mockers. So far I count 3. LOL!
Or like in the real draft, other teams pass you by with their selections until yours is made. Keep missing and keep moving down.Being you are so generous with the 12 hour rule, any GM who misses their timeslot should be out. Can't let these slackers hold us up a second time. I have already given that possibility some thought. I decided against it because unlike in the real draft where the team will eventually pick, that might not happen here. What happens if a team never picks? How many teams can bypass him before we give up and decide to give that team to another poster? Whose going to take over that team then? A team that has already been irreparably damaged? Those details are only the tip of the iceberg but I'm getting tired and still feeling crappy. I'm off to bed and will continue this conversation in the morning. Too many unanswered questions for that to be an option IMO. Think about the things I mentioned and if you have solutions let's hear them. I couldn't come up with any that would work.Gandalf joining the discussion:

JMO But I would think that IF he doesn't appear for his second pick in a row, he should be replaced! IF we can find someone. It's an extra burden on Alan to have to keep making picks for "No Shows!" JMHOCan't say I didn't see this coming
Look if a GM is a no show in the 1st why would anyone expect him to show in the 2nd?
He's a good member and I'm sure there's an explanation but to wait another 12 hrs?
Find a couple of new posters who want to play and make them alternates. If a player misses his turn and doesn't show up for 3 missed slots, give the team to the alternate and let him take over, If there are no new players available give the team to an existing player, but disallow trades between his teams. A player misses, next guy picks, he misses again, next guy picks, he misses, new guy takes over and makes selection.I have already given that possibility some thought. It sucks! But we all agreed to the rules! We'll get through it!:shades:Yep, get that feeling we are in a holding pattern until tomorrow afternoon.
We all know it's Alan's baby and we all appreciate the hard work and time he has put into it. It takes a lot of dedication to run this, especially for someone who isn't feeling well.Poor guy is on here all the time. Whatever he decides to do is up to him.I would like to say that some members have some really good ideas on how to keep a mock draft like this moving. The problem is we already started and @Alan has put a lot of time and effort into this. We need to keep this in mind when we start telling him what to do and what not to do. He is going to leave us after this and the thing he is going to remember most is how we acted in this draft. I for one would like to say thank you Alan and I'm having a good time. I hope you decide to stay but I understand your reasons if you leave us. Thank you brother for everything
