A couple of things spring to mind here.
I'd try and trade it if you feel that way. For myself, I'd like to have the Whiners. See if I could make them a real team again. Or at least put them on the right road. Of course that's knowing that my picks won't actually be helping the real team. There very well might be others that feel the same.

Ok ok, the Cheatriots are worse case haha. Though I doubt anyone in my group would feel the same way about the 9ers. I'll have to live with it and hope next year I get a team I can feel good about.

The groups are just time periods. Group 3 won an earlier drawing and got to pick from the top 10 teams. In order to make the timing work Group 1 has to draft next and drafts from the next 11 teams picking in the draft. Group 2 will be drafting for one of the 11 best teams in the in the NFL this year and will be drafting in the 22-32 draft positions. We'll start the draft @ 6 PM EST (3 PM PST) on the 27 of March @A55VA6 .

Do you remember the scene in Romancing the Stone at the end where Ira is trying to make his getaway from the Columbian secret police without Ralph (Danny DeVito) and Ralph asks him when he's coming back for him? Ira tells him: "Soon, very soon!" as he tries to slip away without him.

With The Cheatriots not picking in the 1st round (I don't know where they're picking yet) and the order of the last two teams not set yet it's complicated. Plus, I want to rearrange the list to reflect the drafting order versus who wanting to play. :headexplosion: I'll do that today. Probably. :notsure:

So this is exactly how it will look when the mock actually starts. Unlike last year, I'd appreciate it if no one tries to update either of these two lists. I'd like to keep this format and if a GM tires to update it I'll just have to do it again myself anyway. What I would like all GMs to do is please notify the next GM that he's on the clock. Also II, compensatory picks will affect rounds 3 through 5. Compensatory picks cannot be traded and when the info is available I'll change the affected rounds.
