.

Man, talk about an extreme shift in attitude.

Go watch the Goff day video. It made me feel much better. This funk Goff is in is very fixable. Once he plays better the whole offense will play better.

I prefer the Rams team we had a few weeks ago....Are you saying you are not deflated right now? Be honest.
I think we all feel that way brother. I just prefer to think of the positives we have seen all season rather than the flop show we have seen the last two weeks. I can't imagine that the Rams have just been lucky over the course of the last two seasons. There is talent everywhere on that roster and coaching staff. Now we need to see some pride.

I hear ya Loyal. I cant complain about being 11-3, but i can get worried about how we are playing. McVay is a new coach so we have no idea how he is going to respond or prepare for this ship turning its course. All I or we know so far is what McVay and the players have told us these Last 3 wks about what we need to correct and we have yet to see it. Our half time adjustments are not nearly as effective anymore, either. Consistency in the NFL is very hard. You can win the super bowl one year and then be the worst team the next. So just bc we sit pretty now doesnt mean future success. If we can win our first play off game I think personally that would show a turn in the right direction. So cheers to that.

damn man ... stay away from away form high bridges ... before the season start before the Oaklad game .. what did you think our record was going to be honestly now ...

I am certain most folk define a Rams winning season as “ winning playoff games” and that is in question, is it not?

I understand that you are not having as much fun with losing as you did with winning.

30 games under McVay and this is literally the first opportunity to complain about losing two games in a row.

I am not having as much fun lately either.... and I really do appreciate your honesty, but there is still time for this team to get right and I am just not as dejected or quite as disappointed I guess.
The Kupp is missing, but I still have some koolade left.

Not sure, personally.
I enjoyed last season, a lot actually.
And until very recently, this season too. If there was some reason to believe we cant get right enough to win 1 playoff game, then I would be upset... but thats still totally possible.
Give me a good game in the playoffs and 2 appearances in a row with 2 division titles... and say it ends up being McVays 3rd or 4th season before he gets to the big game?
Oh no. Lol.. I would be A-OK with that story too.

Looking at history it is not uncommon for really good teams to lose a couple in December and still have success in playoffs if not win the Super Bowl. I think winning teams tend to fall into a funk come December at times where they are complacent. Where teams trying to prove themselves or fighting for their playoff lives come in with more fire and create upsets. Add in the emotionally exhausting Chiefs game followed by bye week and I think they just got complacent. So I can't fall into a funk and say it's all over now. There's a lot of time for McVay to right this ship and two teams left who will be great games to test stuff out on. I personally think McVay thought the Chicago game was a one off bad night against a great defense. He didn't change anything. I think Philly will be eye opening for him and I look for stuff to be changed up a bit.

In McVay I trust.

Bro to be honest every Rams fan deep down feels a little like you do. Why? Because McVay this team and the coaching staff have raised our expectations. The last two years have been a revelation for us as Rams fans. We haven't gone into games expecting wins and blowouts since the 1999-2001 seasons. Especially since every game we have lost this year has been a game we could have won.

For example Saints game was lack of defense, Bears game bad play calling from the offense and the last game just bad turnovers. But like another poster said we had a chance to win each of those games.

yes it sucks to lose but we are 11-3 with a chance to finish 13-3 first round bye and get revenge on the Saints in there house. You know what i'll take that all day, why? Because McVay has yet to lose to any team he has played twice.

So lets all cheer up ride these last 2 games out with wins get Gurley healthy and make this Superbowl run.

Letttttttttttsssssssssssssssssss Goooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Please.
Not too long ago Ram fans would have been pleased with the Bears game because it was close.
Any sign of improvement or hope was greeted with a smile.
14 games into McVays second season and we are supposed to be pearl clutching and hand wringing? No.
The league is hyper competitive.
The other players and coaches get paid too, they have skills and are smart as well.
No cake walks.
Every year any team that has an outstanding year.....12, 13, 14 wins.....can look back and find 5 or so games they could have lost easily. Every team that posts 4 or 5 win seasons can find 5 games they could have easily won. This is the NFL.
It's never Alabama playing Western Kentucky for a practice that counts as a win.
Both Seattle games, Minnesota, Kansas City....there are a handful of games that could have gone either way. The Rams won these games. Does that mean the team is an imposter? If the Rams lost two of those games and were sitting at 9-5 would they be an imposter? Nope. They are the same team.
The idea that they are supposed to cut through their entire schedule like hot butter is silly. No team does.
This team has holes and has all year.
They have proven they can be beaten, they also have proven they can beat anyone.
So has Kansas City, New Orleans, Chargers, Steelers, Chicago, New England.
It should be a very competitive and fun playoff season in both conferences.
The Rams are right in the middle of it with a bright future.
I'm enjoying this damn season.
The team likely is winning 12-13 games.....Im not going to poop on that.

Yeah 11 wins and two games to go, this team feels like an impostor to me right now. This is not the team that was playing before KC that wore Horns. I'd get angry when someone called us soft or the slightly nicer term, finesse. But what can you say with how we've been socked in the mouth and did nothing about it? Kupp was a tough SOB, and always seeming to either get open, or make the tough catch when we actually had to have it, and we don't have that now. Woods is really darn good at clutch catches too, but something about Kupp and Goff, you just knew they would get it done. Now? Any pass over 20 yards feels like a hail mary.

In the Fisher years, we sucked, but we at least had a really good defense. We still have Aaron Freakin Donald, but we don't have Robert Quinn and even our mermaid man, Will Hayes...Brockers was really good then, but I don't know who the guys is now wearing his jersey. I like the 4-3 better than the 3-4, sorry Wade. I find myself ignoring the plays except for watching what Aaron Donald does during a play when he's on the field. At least I can watch greatness, while doing that. I did it under Fisher, and unhappily, it's what I have now with this floundering team.

Yep, I'll watch the rest of the games. Maybe McVay can pull us out of the nose dive. Until then, I'm watching AD.

I think a great way to say the same thing in one short sentence is "Right now the team is going full Andy Reid." God I hope this doesn't become McVay's curse.

Well, the good news is; both KC and Saints fans think their teams are struggling and will lose to the Rams.

LOL.

The NFL is a game of match-ups. Am I a little concerned with the last 2 losses - sure. But, that's football.

We lost some games in 1999 too.

Every week is a new challenge. If this team is capable of winning the Super bowl, it needs to get better and make some adjustments. If they are who we think they are, they will.

That's what makes getting into the playoffs fun.

I am ENJOYING THE RIDE!!!

There is a reason the QB is the most important position in football. This is a precision offense - if the ball isn’t precisely placed, it doesn’t work.

This team will live and die by how well Goff plays. The team is good enough to win most games where he plays Ok but not if he plays poorly.

To that extent, nothing has changed. When Goff is great, we are unbeatable - when he is good, we are a really tough out, when he is so so - we still have a fighting chance, when he stinks, we will lose (even to the Cardinals).

Will say the Rams are in a slump but the current issues are correctable.

Supporting a winning team certainly turns people thin-skinned over losing.

Nobody is complaining but we are concerned. We had high expectations for this team. Super bowl expectations. It seems to me now that we are gonna go one and done in the playoffs again. Is that what you want? Have a winning season and then get punched in the mouth in the first playoff game? Again? This team (for the last 3 weeks)has show no grit, no heart, no passion and no fire. If they don't get their swagger back I guarantee you mcvay gonna be 0-2 in the post season very soon

This is quite literally a “sky is falling” post. After we win out and get the 2nd seed everyone will be excited again. Chill. Teams lose and sometimes play badly for long stretches. We’ve lost two games in a row for the first time since 2016. I can’t believe after what we’ve endured people are actually complaining. It wasn’t too long ago we were PRAYING for just a winning season.

No one thinks a winning season as playoff games ... a winning season is the regular season EVERYONE knows that .. don’t try moving the goal posts

1-11 is a losing season
4-12 is a losing season
7-9 is a losing season
11-3 is by no means a losing season

Playoffs is just when the real football starts

Yep. If we had massive season ending injuries to Gurley/Donald or something I'd agree it would feel like a losing season. That said, where there's light there's hope. Always.

No worries. Be happy. There is nothing you or I could do to change how things play out the rest of this season, or future seasons for that matter. It's fun when the Rams win and disappointing when they lose. As long as the Rams are winning more than losing, then I'm a satisfied fan. Que sera sera.

I will start to be worried if we are watching this team walk off the field after getting bounced from the playoffs. Until then, enjoy
