I guess what we are saying is, they let so much go uncalled against the Seahawks at that same juncture yet called the game really tight against the the Rams. That is not just bad calls. That is a continuous influence of the outcome of the game. To say, well good teams overcome bad calls only true when that is all that is happening. I guess the Rams were not that good in Brady's 1st SB win because they couldn't overcome all the illegal contact and holding penalties that the Pats got away with. Or the intentional grounding that should have been called on Brady on the winning drive.True, but good teams overcome bad calls like the Rams did last year. The Refs still suck, but we don’t have the ability to change the narrative.
By the way, with everything the Rams did to come back in the SB last year, if the Refs don't start calling the PIs and holding the way the rules call out on the last drive, we don't win and we become another favorite stunned by an upstart QB in the SB.
