The 8 million yards Washington racked up on the D wasn't that discouraging? Was to me!

Yeah, that was disappointing. But the defense has proven themselves in the past. No reason to think they can't clean that up. The offense on the other hand has a lot to prove. And so far the first two games, they clearly look better and there is hope. They still have a ways to go but the arrow is pointing up.

I know every game counts the same, but we were not going to go 16-0. A game in September does not necessarily define a team. Its what they do with that afterwards.

Yes Goff made a rookie mistake but he really is still a rookie. Seven starts last year with Fisher's offense don't equal a season, that's for sure. Geoff will remember this mistake for a long long time so hopefully that's a positive.

No down the field shots. Disappointing as crap. We have Sammy Watkins, and don't bother to use him. If you wanted to use him like a Pharoh Cooper, save your second round pick and just use your Pharoh Cooper

It's not like Watkins cant make plays on the ball. The Linebacker play and this is what I'm mostly uspet about. Goff needs to scan the field better.

Washington was going to give up the middle of the field and Goff is trying to hit the slot outside the tackle. Unreal.
Have to say, the bigger concern with Goff is how they took the ball out of his hands in the 4th Q.

Summary of the day Defense couldn't stop the delay nor anything up the gut. Penalties cost us points especially the Robert Woods play. And also you have to take shots down the field. The last play of the game horrible decision by Goff

Oh well move on learn from this and beat the Niners. Hate the loss but last year down 13 we would have gave up lost this game by 20 plus

Some good and some bad today. Would have been blown out if this was the same old rams but they were fighting the whole game and came up short. Penalties and D was the issue

Agree and disagree. Yeah they should have trusted him more. No, Gurley had the hot hand. I'd actually have run the ball in the last possession to start. Make them respect it. Then let the Goff show begin. Not super happy with the play calling on offense and our WR discipline.

We went after their OLBs and safety tackling in the 2nd half. People knew it was a weakness before the game. Should have done this from the start.

I've become so used to this team finding different ways to lose that nothing surprises me .
The kid drives down the field even with 5 penalties and ties the game , and the D gives it right back .
So much for Woods veteran leadership . His two penalties had a lot to do with the loss .
We'll see if they grow from this , but till they start beating mediocre teams I won't believe it .
This team doesn't really have any home field advantage , since it sounded louder for the Skins .

This right here is a problem. I like Tavon but I don't see where his plays really make a difference. When you were feeding Gurley he was getting it done. And with Sammy, why not feed that beast. He is a true number one wide receiver. But........ we will get better. This is not your same rams. They will grow and will have growing pains.

So we're probably 1-1 with the 49ers on Thursday. Gotta do something about that run defense. Carlos Hyde ran for 102 yards in the first half against a good seahawks defense. Can't let him gash us like the skins did today.
