Last year we wouldn't even be in this position to throw a game clinching INT if we gave up 27 points. 14 games left to see the progress. I'm not as discouraged in this loss as others might be.

We'll see what Goff learns from this. Before we go saying SOSAR or Goff is a bust, put it in perspective. Today was only Goff's 9th career start. He's got a long way to go. And he clearly looks light years better than last season. Today was not make or break.

We lost mostly from those ugly 10 + yard runs straight up the gut. You will never win in this league allowing that..It's like watching a knife slowly being stuck into your gut and not being able to stop it. Wade Phillips better stop that shyte!

Yes Goff made a rookie mistake but he really is still a rookie. Seven starts last year with Fisher's offense don't equal a season, that's for sure. Goff will remember this mistake for a long long time so hopefully that's a positive.
