Yeah, you never leave early.

I remember sitting in a sports bar in Charlotte, NC, 1989, when the Rams were down to the Saints 17-3, at NO, with only a few minutes left in the 4th quarter and without Henry Ellard (the game where Flipper set the single-game receiving yards record). It had largely been a shitshow up to that point but nagging little voice in my head kept saying "don't leave" ... so I didn't. Then we scored two TD's in the final 3 minutes to send it into overtime and won when Lansford hit a FG. So glad I stayed. Man, their must have been a foot of air between the soles of my shoes and the ground when I walked out of the place that night and I had to turn sideways to get my smile through the door.
I was in Cancun watching that game.

I could not believe the Rams came back in that game.

I was so pumped.

Same here. Everett was getting killed all night but hung in there at the end to get it done. And Flipper ... man, what can you say about his performance? I guess the NFL record books say all that need to be said.

One of my best memories as a Rams fan. I don't think I had ever seen them come back from such dire straits before that one.

You thought last week was bad when we beat them. Wait until this week, Goff owns the Cards

I was trying to record 2 games that night back in 1989, Rams-Saints and Lakers-Spurs who had rookie David Robinson. I was about to give up on the Rams for playing so badly in the 1st half, but I did catch the comeback and it was wonderful. Lakers ended up losing to Spurs. Robinson looked like the real deal.

Lions played awesome. Now I need to go remind some Deadibrd trolls on youtube.

Deadbirds have the Colts and Cowboys coming up. Their boat is starting to take on water. They could easily be 10-6 going into the last game. I just wish we didn't have the 49ers in the finale. That team is just a bad matchup for us. We give the short stuff on defense. They gladly take it.

The crazy AZ fans want to trade Kyler Murray for multiple firsts and start again - nuts!
Well, three years in a row with ankle injuries that restrict his running. He wants to be a pocket passer but whenever he's contained in the pocket his accuracy goes down. He has to get in space to play his best. I know its tough to find goid QBs but I'd swap him for DeSean Watson, Aaron Rodgers, maybe even Russell Wilson (more durable). The Cards have a good assemblage of talent. Can they afford to watch it go to waste each year when Murray is limping around and unable to play his type of game?

I can understand the frustration with Murray, but let’s get real - which team would hand over multiple 1st rounders for Murray as he implodes?

Ah, I didn’t understand why you responded the way you did to the idea. But you have a point.

If they did it then blow is the time. If not then they ride it out as long as they can and eat the loss. It’s a QB so I’m betting they don’t move him. Unless they can sucker Pete into thinking he can work miracles and trade for Wilson.
