McVay is good at the action of deceiving.
So when there is news of an injury to a Rams player. As an NFL fan assume the worst and hope for the best. That way you deflect some of the disappointment.

The RB signing could definitely mean Hendy had a setback with that hammy. Or it could mean they're looking to move him.

Or it could be Jones to the PS where they wanted him to begin? We'll likely find out tomorrow.

Snooping Bucs forums... sounds like he didn’t get many opportunities.

Other comments about keeping a 32yr old back over Calais as “stupid”.

He was among their first round of cuts.

This guy is taking Jo Jo Natson's spot so to speak. So I wouldn't look at him as a RB.

I agree Jackson is likely in trouble unless they really like him or maybe a guy like Shelton or Banks could go.

They have back up DL and a C on the practice squad, guys that can get called up if needed.

So that is protection if Coleman or Banks gets claimed while trying to add them to the practice squad.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Calais was released on Friday. I may be mistaken, but I don't think any player released on Friday was claimed during that 24 hours period. And it's probably because these teams were busy trying to get to the 53 man limit themselves.

Here's what I suspect. I'm surprised nobody else has said this yet.

Tampon loved this rook. They never thought for a minute that they were going to put him on their practice squad. They definitely had a place for him during game days.

Then... the Jacksonville Tankers made another unbelievable move to improve their ability to tank by releasing Leonard F. Tampon jumped at the chance to add this veteran to their backfield.... so they had to make room for him by trying (and praying) to hide this young "joy stick" on the practice squad.

HA.... our staff immediately snatched him.

Snead and McSlay did their best Aqib chain snatching impression by grabbing this rookie as fast as they could.

I am definitely guessing that Tampa was keeping their fingers crossed that nobody would claim him!!!
