Went and saw Masters of the Universe on the weekend and loved it -- didn't take itself too seriously - whole family had a great time.

9/10

:sunglasses::thumbsup1:
Unfortunately, it isn't doing too well at the box office because the young adults/teenagers didn't grow up with that show and aren't going to see it. Maybe word of mouth will increase attendance over the next few weeks.

Hope so - it was a lot of fun -- I'm not really concerned if there are no more movies made or it flops - it's been made .. and it's great. :thumbsup1:

Plenty of movies were flops when they first came out -- and not necessarily putting MOTU in this category but .. Wizard of Oz, Citizen Kane, Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, Blade Runner etc.

I saw where the ages 12 and under only made up 4% of the audience

I watched it and it did nothing for me. Just wasn't entertaining to me I know people who liked it though.

Reason enough to go to a theater to watch a movie.
I was just surprised how few kids went and saw it , considering it's a movie based on a kids show

Granted , it came out in the 80s And alot of today's kids gave never heard of it ,

I will be curious to see how the new ScoobyDoo tv show on Netflix will do

And I was just commenting on how much I hate going to movies with a bunch of kids.

In The Grey Guy Ritchie Film. I typically like his movies and this one was no different. I'd give it 7.5-8 out of 10. You know going in what you're going to get. Plus the action scenes were decent.

Mortal Kombat II. I liked it. 7 out of 10. It's campy and based off a video game. Karl Urban helped the cast. It was definitely gory for a movie based off a game. Although it was mortal combat pun intended.

Backrooms. 4/5
If you like atmosphere and slow burn see it. Doesn’t matter if you’re not familiar with the web series.

Project Hail Mary 3/5
Tone was too goofy for my taste but otherwise good sci-fi human drama.

Iron Lung 2/5
I appreciate the low budget design and story premise but man, it was incoherent way too often in the last hour.
