True.
To place it in the current context he would be working writing mens make up tips articles and blogs while living in an "influencer house" and always pushing his online only "premium" coffee blend. Also would be known not as Superman but as Genetically Privileged Non Birthing Person.
Able to deliver morning routine video shorts in a single bound.....

Jeebus, can we keep this thread on topic?

Watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood last week for the umpteenth time.

10/10........ Forever.

i'm the same. when i'm flicking through the movie channels on pay tv, if i see it running i have to watch it. at least until the scene with the hippy chick and pitt that runs into the old studio overrun by hippies. that 20 mins ruins the film. it's unwatchable for me.

Not Quintens best effort in my opinion.

Quinton himself calls it his Magnum Opus. I don't disagree with him. I love all of his stuff, so I'm obviously a fan boy, but not sure how anyone could say this isn't one of his best.

Having a hard time figuring out what scenr you are talking about. What "studio"?

Full disclosure - his absolute best, and one of my all-time favorite movies.

I should have said movie set. The western set they drive to where he looks up his old mate. All the hippies were living there. One of them slashes his tyre.

That was a bit strange. Could have done without the trapped rat.

Tire change was ok.

Him saying that is like every band ever saying their new album is their best.
There are a couple of his I like better. That doesn't mean I don't like Hollywood, its great. I just think there were some things that have become sort of predictable....his reliance on graphic violence for one. But, thats all just a matter are opinion.
Its a good movie.

I listen to a LOT of music and a shit ton of bands, and that is not something I hear any of them saying, haha. Also not something he himself has said after any of his other movies was released, at least as far as I know.

You're right, it's all subjective. No point in us quibbling over it, since we both agree it is a good movie. I, for one, enjoy the graphic violence when used in the context of revisionist history. I like seeing enactments of historical monsters (Hitler, Manson family, etc) getting pummeled into oblivion, but again, thats just me. You do you, boo. Cheers!!

That was a thing forever, maybe more back in the day when people actually bought albums of music.
It was often the thing on the press/interviews promoting the new albums.
It just felt forced to me in that movie, but, again.....just one idiots opinion.
