We are fkd. No Fuller. No Rapp. Williams shoulder. No Jones. Our D will give up 35 points or more. Our O needs to score 40 to win IMO

Not really. I mean, he may be capable but not within the framework of their offense.Honest question.. is Moore a deep threat? I thought he was a short-area pass receiver who could break long ones with his speed and elusiveness?
Kirk, for sure. Got the Rams deep last time. Not really. I mean, he may be capable but not within the framework of their offense.
Green is their #1 deep guy in terms of the numbers but i feel like they like to target Kirk deep quite a bit.
Probably just the fact that you expect our secondary to be better in this game with 3 completely new starting safeties being thrust into the lineup. Yes Jalen is playing, but come on man. Look at every single other part of our secondary. CB and S. We will give up a lot of big plays and have some more coverage busts.Idk what's so funny about my first post?

But if the offense comes to play and is playing at their highest level then we can compete with anyone, regardless of what the defense does. So thats what we need to hope for to have a shot to win this game. If we dont turn the ball over and run/pass well we should get the job done.
Think we were missing more starters the last time we beat that ass in the

I'm thinking Weddle covers the calls when they pull Reeder off. So one of the two is on the field at all times. We will need to score 35 to win this game. Sure hope the offense comes to play. The major concern critics of our team building strategy have expressed is our lack of depth. We will see how well Burgess, Scott, and Weddle (God help us) can play.
One thing not being mentioned enough is how often we are in 3 safety sub packages. Its over 50%. Our nickel sub package is sort of our base. So Weddle will likely be playing over 50% of snaps, after less than a week of practice and being out of football for 3 years. Lmfao jesus christ.
It's good to have someone who can call the checks.. and communicate well back there.. but you really think they'd have Weddle call the actual defense rather than Ramsey?I'm thinking Weddle covers the calls when they pull Reeder off. So one of the two is on the field at all times.
I hope he gets healthy. Does anyone realize how unstoppable we could be if Morris just lined him up close to the line of scrimmage to take away the short and intermediate looks away?
When employed right, he excels.
No he doesn't drop down from double safety look often enough. Rapp is great in small spaces, big spaces not so much. It would also limit teams' abilities to stretch our defense horizontally where Reeder struggled against SF.Doesn't he do that a bunch now?
And, everyone in the NFL just about is running 2 high safeties on many downs.. would you rather see Scott out there on those or Rapp?
Or do you want to make Fuller a single-high safety? Because I like him, but he's not Earl Thomas and doesn't have the range to do that.
I don't think you can *only* have Rapp play close to the line of scrimmage.

Well THERE'S a take.We are fkd. No Fuller. No Rapp. Williams shoulder. No Jones. Our D will give up 35 points or more. Our O needs to score 40 to win IMO
That's probably the best advice I've seen in months. Seriously it is.Relax and enjoy the ride!
Yes. And I suspect that spat in fact between Rapp and Ramsey shows he's not going to take guidance from just anyone. So if he needs to be aligned right or having someone checking him it has to be someone he trusts. Good chance that's a factor here. It's good to have someone who can call the checks.. and communicate well back there.. but you really think they'd have Weddle call the actual defense rather than Ramsey?
