I was 11 watching him up late at night ( Like Rhonda Up. All Night! remember her? @Loyal does!! lol) coming home from football practice playing my entire football career as RB/LB. At that time in Alabama and later New Mexico, little did I know he'd be leading us to a championship in the 99' season and the SB in Jan 2000. I'd be leaving for Marine bootcamp in the next few days.

This clip throws you back. Wasn't he amazing?

Anyone else watch him in college?

Finally I have a semi cool story compared to you old fuckers! :laugh2:

Yes, I remember him in college. I was living in Anaheim back in the day and we had a channel that used to broadcast San Diego State games at about 11pm or something. Faulk was incredible back then but actually my favorite player was a QB named Dennis Shaw.

He threw the ball around to guys named Tim Delaney and Tommie Reynolds like nobody's business.
It was the first I had heard of a coach named Don Coryell. Man did that guy know offense.

Wait what? Your favorite player wasn't MARSHALL? LOL

Well that was before Marshall took over right?

And I never knew Don Coryell was the coach there bro? Holy shit! I was always thought he was before my time! haha Guess I'm an heir to Watching one of the originating offensive minds.

I hate to admit it, but I knew nothing about Marshall until he was traded to the Rams. I didn't know Rhonda either because I drove for Greyhound and worked the extra board, which meant I had to be ready to drive 8 hours after arriving home from a trip. I didn't have time for TV or even the Internet in the late 90's on my off time, because I was focused on getting sleep.... Just payin' my dues, @Corbin .

Man might of been a bit too tipsy last night! lol Think I probably didn't still watching Marshall until the year after, don't know if your QB was still there but I do remember watching the QB throwing some rainbows down the sideline every now and again.
In combination with falling in love with Phoebe Belle Cates at the box office.
The only type of horse riding I'm into

Worked with a guy in 99-2000 who played in the now-defunct Cal State Northridge program as a DB. He would jokingly say his career highlight was tackling Faulk along the side-line one time.

Man! That's a lot of fucking make-up. We used to find this hot.

Below is a young Jennifer Connelly.
I always get those two mixed up.. Cates is the Gremlins chick.

I thought of her as The Fast Times at Ridemont High, girl.
Or Paradise (1982) like Blue Lagoon

But if I definitely prefer me Jennifer Connelly over Phoebe Cates. But both are up there.
