Allen played every snap of 13 personnel last year. I don't think people realize how important he is to this team let alone what kind of market he would have in a trade (teams would be falling over themselves for him - though I don't see us trading him).
I don't think he is cut or traded either.
Allens blocking has improved greatly over the last two years and he his a solid contributor to the offense.
Will the Rams think his skills are less important to overall success than a 6yh WR or a 4th CB? Like I said, doubtful.

With the league moving to heavier personnel over the next few years I expect Allen to fetch us a nice compensatory pick next year too.

With the normal lower tier teams following what one of the most successful hottest teams do......this 2026 season you can expect any Ram TE's on the PS to be plucked off when the season begins ......

Dan Villari
Mark Redman
Rohan Jones

Its should be said its highly doubtful that soon to be 34 yr old veteran TE Higbee remains active on the 53 master roster not injured.

Yeah...... this 6-6 big talent high ball catching talent has not been tapped on a regular basis by LA yet, Davis Allen is a fast improving fully well balanced TE that most all teams will desire.

Yeah, I think it will be interesting to see how things shake out with our guys but a reason that we may be able to stash them:

- Right now the need is Y tight ends (Parkinson and Higbee are truly valuable here) and not h-backs/F receivers. Teams may be set with their own H-back types given how many were available and taken in this years draft.

Also, Villari is RAW. We basically paid to develop him over many years so slightly less concerned that someone will snatch him up this year. He's like Taysom Hill Lite.

My hope is that Daniels becomes another steal of the draft that McSnead is becoming known for. I am always partial to actual Rams draft picks getting the job done vs signing some vet looking for a team.
Aleen is not getting cut or traded, it would be foolish. He can play, tall and still young. Him shining for another team would be a tough one to swallow.
Rooting for Daniels.
