Late to the party and watching the game but glad to just get the win. Division games are never a given and with the Covid impact screw the stats just win baby.

I’ll rewatch the game today but initial thoughts:

A really solid game from Stafford. A pick but outside of that some really good throws. I thought his ability to take some sacks without coughing the ball up was very important in this game. The ball security is getting better and he understands when to tuck it in and let the defense do their thing rather than trying to be the hero as we saw earlier in the year.

I thought Deayon made some nice plays in this game.

Our front Dline combined with Jones continue to be a massive force that offenses can’t deal with.

Sony really showed he is not only a tough runner but can take over a game if you don’t commit bodies to stopping him. Some really big runs showcasing his 2nd gear.

Skowronek is really starting to settle in to the offense and be a problem for defenses. A big drop but lots of great routes in this game. Someone to Keep an eye on.

He's very close, but still seems a bit awkward. Slips or might had the first down on the holding penalty against Seattle that was the first questionable call, that extended the drive for the go ahead TD.

I liked Skowronek at Notre Dame. He made some big plays, was deceptively fast and looked very smooth. He's coming around, still some rough edges, but I do believe we have something there.

Was that Brycen Hopkins first catch yesterday? I saw Funk was back.

OBj will not be a Ram next season Imo. In OTA’s The Rams will have a young group of ascending players.

I like the way Les Snead & The Rams reloaded this last draft. To find players late, even in the fourth round is tough.

Jacob Harris was the talk of OTA’s last off season.Tutu Atwell is going to be a solid player.

The Rams bring a guy in like Brandon Powell & all he does as become a special teams sensation imo play for play.

Ben Sko I saw in training camp & posted he was going to make the team. We’re talking about a 7th rd pick here.He looks the part & have been saying to keep an eye on him for awhile. — Yesterday’s drop pass could have cost The Rams the game.Van Jefferson has done it almost as much as well though. Those plays are frustrating to watch.

An example of almost the same play that was a killer.Higbee missing the screen & being taken to the house for 6. OBj3 try’s to one hand a short sidearm throw from Stafford. He has to try to use 2 hands on a short hot throw.I know that is his mind set,but that is why (AI) practice is a thing.Should have been another INT.

I like how physical The Rams have been playing. The bigger Wr/TE like Hopkins & Sko will be effective.Thise mistakes like Mcvay says are correctable & effort plays. That’s why Kupp & Woods are so special. The Van Jefferson effort & Kupp push for 2 to 3 more yards just shows the toughness they have.

Now if you can only remember to run the ball in the first half Sean, you'd have your lead into halftime and win the game!

Well I thought at the ENd of the Game was the Worst.

Mcvay throws short on 3rd & 4th down & gives the ball back to the Hags with a chance with good field position & time. I think it was right before the 2 minute warning ?
—My point is if you have the lead & your a chess player knowing the situation & what your next couple of moves are you’ll be in a better place.

Mcvay on 3rd & 3(5?)needs to run the ball. It runs clock & hopefully moves you forward.Especially if your going to go for it on 4th down. They passed the ball anyways so WTF ? I’m not worried about the lack of running it overall.
I also ask every week about Mcvay’s playcalling. There was something I didn’t know & know one talks about it.For a better question is it starts early in the game.

The Hawk fans are crying about the non-call PI. But they ignore the pulling penalty by Everett of Dallas in the red zone on the Hawks TD was not called. It's a 10 yd penalty meaning they probably end up with a FG not a TD. The non-calls went both ways.
They act like there was a 100 percent chance they woulda drove for the winning TD. Even though it woulda been tied at best. They don't say it woulda gave them a chance. They say they woulda won. They managed one TD drive the whole game. That was gonna be another? A sure thing? Yeah, ok.

Well you just about nailed it.

From a win loss record Justin Hollins probably hasn’t loss all season ?

He stepped up & made at least 2 real big plays if your talking about players from the inordinately?

Hopkins had his first catch as a Ram,not sure what happens when Higbee gets back though. He did have a nice block as well.

Bobby Evans held his own, gave up a bad sack.Whitworth did as well though.

Still think a guy you don’t hear much about because he is playing so well is Coleman Shelton.

Then once again Brandon Powell is making a difference as a KR guy.

Matt Gay is amazing & so much better than Greg the Leg.

Finally finished watching this morning...seemed like the only thing more out of whack than the Rams' offense was Seattle's.

The game had that feeling that the Rams were going to let this one get away.

They got a couple of nice calls in a close game. The Rams made the big plays in a hard-fought game. Kupp, Micheal, Stafford, and Donald get game balls. Ramsey and Gianes too. Matt Gay has become Mr. Reliable and Hekker did well. I guess it was a good team effort overall under stressful conditions.

Go Rams!!!
Had me scared early though, especially after the INT. Looked like it might have shit-show potential at that point but the defense never really let them in the game.

Fairweather bastid! Any good sub squid would wanna live in Groton…..
I was there in 1976. When November came it was so cold I wore thermals, sweatshirt and the navy P-coat. Still froze my ass off. That wind chill was brutal. But the food was awesome.

More reason to celebrate! Imagine the player they could add with this pick. Instead they have Adams and his contract haha

Throw in the extra picks the forty whiners gave for a QB they have no idea if he will pan out or not. They coulda had solid pick in Mac Jones and kept all those picks. I think they panicked when the Rams got Stafford. Just thinking about those trades that could haunt both franchises for the next few years is giving me a boner. :zany1:
