Think about this. We beat the hags on 11/15...we play the whiners on 11/29. That means in a 14 day stretch we could beat the Hags, Brady, and Whiners. What a baller two weeks!

By contrast, I thought that the Tampa Bay offense didn't have anything like that "urgency and enjoyment" of playing together. Instead they just seemed out of kilter, at least when faced with the Rams' D. They lost concentration on key plays. About as aimless as Brady's last pass to Fuller.

I thought that the Bucs O looked like they didn’t have answers for what they were seeing.

They were frustrated with their own mistakes along with not having anywhere to go with the ball. Evans was well covered but for one play.

AB moved the chains a couple times early and then D Will just shut him down.

TE’s? Didn’t do shit.

Running game? Nothing for Fournette or Jones. Fournette dropped three, as I recall.

No answers.

The Rams D is like Jeopardy.

Sadly I saw our guys do it once this season. Thought they never would. I can't remember what game it was though. At least I only had to see it once in all these years!
I don’t understand it either unless that’s not accounting for last night and an update is coming.

The Bucs got out to a fast start.
The Rams D deserves a lot of credit.
The Bucs are loaded with talent at WR, TE, RB and have a big nasty line.
From 8:35 in the second quarter the Rams D only gave up 10 points.
Lock Staley up now.

Noteboom was excellent.
I can admit when I am wrong and it certainly appears I was wrong about Noteboom at LT. Thank God for that.
He did not get much help.
A lot of quick throws but that’s the offense no matter who is at LT.
Kept the TE once or twice and went “max” protect on the left side only once, when Goff dropped into the end zone to pass.
Noteboom gave up one pressure to Pierre-Paul when he beat Boom with an inside move, that play still resulted in a 16 yard completion.
Boom wasn’t great in the run game, but, the Bucs came to stop the run. The Rams averaged about 2 yards per carry for the game so Noteboom was not alone in this.
He did do a better job of keeping his feet in the running game though and did make a couple of really good blocks in the run game. Once driving Ghoulston 5 yards down field.
Boom didn’t get help and was excellent in pass.

Game balls:
Boom....on the island most of the game when the Rams passed 51 times and Goff was not sacked.

Woods and Kupp: Rams attacked the Bucs weakness and zone or man they didn’t have an answer. Excellent after the catch.

Jefferson and Akers: Each with their first TDs. First of many I suspect.

Rams D: Great team effort. Rookies making plays. Fox getting pressure. Generally good LB play.

Gay: Missed one but his kicks look like they can be consistent and hit a game winner.

McVay: Didn’t love the run on the third down on the game winning drive, but, he had a game plan to defeat a good D and it worked.

Stinker: The refs.
I never really complain about the refs but in a year where they are not blowing the whistle on any possible fumble they had the quickest whistle I’ve ever seen on Brady’s fumble. The favoritism was obvious in this one. F them.

With no running game to speak of Goff carried us tonight. The 2nd INTs were bad, but I still think this was his best game of the season throwing the ball, and super clutch on 3rd down. Plus the game winning 4min drive with some big throws. What more needs to be said about Staley's defense? That is a loaded offense we just beat.

Also I'll celebrate the fact that Staley saved McVay tonight after that 3rd down call. Hands down the worst and most gutless call McVay has made in his 4 years here in LA... but Fuller and the D said "Hold my beer!"

I know most people don't care about fantasy football, but my game tonight was insane. Nearly tied going in, his Kupp vs my Woods. It was like a heavyweight slugfest.

I was up big on my opponent who had Gronk going last night. Still won big.

The bigger issue was me chasing the division leader who was losing going into last night with Kupp still to play. His awesome night got him close but not quite there so am now tied for the division lead with the last head-to-head coming this week.

Great fking night!

wow!!!! what a win. great team effort so many things that were just impressive i can't remember them all.
but here are somethings i think that i think.
1 thing is i think dermoff and snead have to find a way to keep staley.
2nd thing is i think the nfl has to change the rule book to say ad gets at least 2 holding calls every game. also let the rams decide when to call them even if ad is out for a rest.
3rd thing i think is noteboom done a nice job in pass protection
4th thing i think is the zebras have to go back to zebra school
5th thing i think is the nfl schedulers should be castrated for scheduling us coming off a short week and playing a team coming off their bye week. plus us playing on the east coast so we almost lose another day in travel
6th thing i think is we had a great day from our rookies. hope they keep it up
7th thing i think if goff can start putting to gather 2 have like the 1st halve tonight we might have a hall of famer. seems like against good df's he can only get 1 halve
8th thing i think is i hope we don't have a lot of injuries out of this game. i seen higbee and williams acting like they might have hand problems plus kizer left the game
9th thing i think is we had a field goal to take the lead late so have my fingers are crossed that we have a kicker to finish the year.
10th thing i think is for old school to complain about poster not being positive enough and that is i am hoping for a new special teams coach.

Hehe awesome. Yea I had Kupp and needed a few points for the win vs the first place owner to take over first place. By the end of Q1 I was like how you feeling dog?

Was crazy. In our PPR scoring Kupp had 11.2 pts after the first drive.

And there's no excuse at all for McVay to be that conservative the way Goff was throwing the ball tonight. 3rd and 8 is very doable in that situation and all but wins the game on that drive. More times than not, when you choose the passive decision vs the aggressive one where you're dictating things, it comes back to bite you.

After Brown's 1st down run he screwed the pooch on 2nd down, not 3rd. Why the hell would you give Henderson the ball on 2nd-and-4 when he and Akers haven't been able to get anything?

I would have passed or at the very least run Brown again and maybe steal the 1st down. Why not, he'd just run for 6?

Been a long time since we won a game where we passed so much more than we ran. Usually a team that is either stuffing our runs, or just not running the ball is a sign we're going to have problems. But Goff got rid of the ball quick... he showed pocket awareness...play calling was improved... One thing.. We can't use Noteboom at guard ever again. That's it. The young man has solid feet...nice quick footwork and he showed that last night..sticking him in the interrior line is wasting that, and getting him hurt. He's our Left tackle, and that's it. Period.

Also, it's frustrating to see Brown had over 6 ypg, but only 3 carries. I understand wanting to get Akers off, and share the load, but I wish that McVay could garner which of the 3 have the hot hand early, and then roll with them. They were stopping our outside runs all night, the couple times we ran downhill, we were successful. Last night was a Malcolm Brown type of game, and I just wish he had been used earlier. Particularly in the Redzone. Malcolm has been smashmouth on short yardage for us this year. Keep using it until it doesn't work. We can still get Akers his looks, and Henderson his touches.

I hope Kiser isn't hurt too bad. He finally looked like he did early in the season. Multiple big hits stuffing the run.
