it's because he got pressure up the middle, no matter if he got sacked or not. He's a statue out there...and old, crumbly statue that doesn't want to get hit.
I think he's trying to prove something to all the "was it Bill or Tom" crowd and he's not helping his case. I love it but he's not helping himself out.
I absolutely hate when the whole defense celebrates like that. I don't mind jumping around and yelling chest bumping you know, spur of the moment stuff. I hate preening for the camera and shit like the 9ers and tampons do.
Sadly I saw our guys do it once this season. Thought they never would. I can't remember what game it was though. At least I only had to see it once in all these years!
