All three interceptions were really bad decisions and/or throws; and there was a terrible fourth throw that could have easily been another interception. All have been in the middle of the field.

As I started to type this, he threw another awful pick.

Some very good throws ... mostly outside the hash but, overall, it has NOT been good.

Yep four int’s similar themed throws. Just needs to fix that common place issue he’s having and if anybody can do it it’s this offensive coaching staff regardless how this game ends.

He’s been away from football a long ass time, as I said even Deshaun Watson couldn’t do it yet.

To make a living against NFL defenses in the middle of the field you have to the arm strength and accuracy to get it in those "tight windows". I don't see it in Bennett.

Oh yeah Perkins, at any rate I don't mind trying to develop a guy that shouldn't see the field as a #3 as opposed to some of those 2's that didn't even allow us to throw the ball over 10 yards when they had to start. I don't know what stetson will become either but he has better tools than those guys we have started

All I can say is, we better hope Stafford doesn't go down the first two games. I think I'd rather have a guy who can only throw 10 yards over a guy who averages an INT per quarter.

He probably should have 6 INTs right now. This has to be a concern even if it’s just pre-season. Next game if this repeats I smell a cut coming.

The critical question here for me is whether he can show enough growth over these preseason games to handle that QB2 job. Because he'll be our QB2 for the opener if he can show this isn't too big for him.

Mentally you know the dude is strong due to what he did at Georgia. He consistently beat expectations and being discounted. But him taking that first year off does make me wonder if he wants it enough.

Either way I want to see a TD drive and win here.

I certainly want him to be good enough. So far he isn't. I'm fine with McVay letting him get back on the horse next week to see if he can shake it off. He's got two more games to prove himself. If he does, great. If not, well, I doubt anyone will poach him off the practice squad. So they can be as patient as they want with him.
