His 2020 salary is already guaranteed its 2021 that becomes guaranteed tomorrow.

His 2020 salary isn't guaranteed yet, only his roster bonus. It's his 2021 roster bonus that becomes guaranteed tomorrow.

Yes! I did. This past year, he did not look happy and some of the press conferences were extremely dry. I mean, I appreciate dry humor, but it was borderline asshole
Were you disappointed in him and saw him on his way put when he called our offense a "middle school offense"?

People acting like hes never been unhappy before. We saw the same disapointed Todd Gurley during the 2016 season as we are seeing now. Imagine if we got rid of him after the 2016 season bc of his unenthusiastic pressers. Stupid reasoning IMO.

He had reason to be upset in 2016.

And if he really is healthy and was mismanaged then he has a reason now.
Yes but I don't think he is healthy. Not to the extent he was before. Just IMO his lateral quickness is gone, he's still got the straight line speed but that slipperiness isn't there any more. Guys square him up way too easily. And I also think he has variance in good/bad days that affect what he can do.

And as I've mentioned before I don't think that alone would make the Rams trade him. Because he's a big MFer who can still hurt a defense if he gets a good seam to go. For this to happen there must have been some sort of friction behind the scenes, probably him being tired of McVay who has very high standards in every facet of his team.

I get what you mean, and I respect your opinion as a member, but theres a difference bw thinking and knowing. Unfortunately we may never know unless he does get traded and opens his mouth. Which I dont seeing him being that person.

As for how he was performing, I have a feeling he knew his oline was trash and was not going 100% and risking injury. Then again, that's just an assumption.

Silver said one team that wanted a physical was going all in this year. I hope the rams keep him and increase his touches significantly but if he's traded i believe it will be to the bucs.

Wouldnt that just make the bucs the sexiest story this off season.

I also see the benefit of adding cooks as he and brady already have some chemistry. Brady would have arguably the best recieveing group in the league.

I dont see them giving up godwin though. Likely another player or draft pick.

Cooks isnt getting a first round trade especially with this 2020 draft class and is gurley worth a first round pick with his knee and salary? Lets say both are worth high 2nd round picks. Can you even trade those picks for 13th overall.

I am not so sure I like "selling low" on TG. He looked pretty good to my eye when given the carries, especially in light of the poor o-line play, and his efficiency at converting TDs around the goal line was still at or near the top of the NFL. Let's not forget how he looked in his sophomore season when the offense was awful. His knee is a concern, but it is all speculation if it is actually a problem going forward, and if he can pass a physical to get traded, it might well not be as big of an issue as many here believe. We could be giving away a MVP level talent for pennies on the dollar.

We do badly need cap space, however, so if the return is decent, I am on board. Especially as the knee is a risk. And if as some speculate her has a bad attitude now with the Rams due to his handling, he probably needs to go, even if he is in the right, to avoid locker room toxicity.

And if we aren't going to be able to build a competent o-line, we'd be better off with a different RB anyway. Todd is great but not the best RB at creating things out of nothing. He is a home run hitter but generally needs a crease and looks ordinary if there never are any. See: his sophomore season. We'd be better off with a 3rd round jitterbug and saving cap room if the o-line is going to be able to properly rebuilt.

Come on man. Nobody actually believes that do they? Watch the damn tape.
I'm actually on the fence with this.
TG in 2019 was eerily representative of TG in 2016.

I feel as though TG wasnt going to fight for an extra yard when the blocking wasnt there to begin with.
More than likely out of injury concern.
TG is a smart player. I could see him saving his health for better run opportunities.

What cap space we gain 4.5m by trading TG that is minimal for the current year. This deal will be more for 2021 and forward.

Be clear the only deal I like out there is TG + Cooks for Godwin and getting TBs 1st round #14 pick that is worth it bc Godwin cancels out Cooks and #14 gives us tons of trade back ability to gain back a 1 next year or take a great player who falls somehow to us at 14 - unfortunately the players at 14 don't line up with our real needs. There are no stud LBs, OLBs and at least 4 Tackle prospects will be off the board we don't need a WR or QB or DB which all seem to be around 1-15 and all the best Tackles are gone maybe a DT but trading back one or two times could really work in our favor I am never a trade back guy but this time I would. This is the only deal I want for TG. We don't know how good he would be with a better OL. I am sure there is a trade scenario on the table is bc he was unhappy on the way he was used.

BTW the trade happens today or not at all tomorrow he is owed a big check.

Remember everyone when you think it is so great to trade TG but now you have a big hole at RB. We will need to spend on a FA or use a draft pick. I really like several in the draft.
