With Brandon Staley going to the Chargers.....My Question...Name me the only man who was the Head Coach of both the Los Angeles Rams & the Los Angeles Chargers
Sid Gillman.

Which Los Angeles Ram, pressed into service as a WR for the only time in his 6 year RAMS career, caught a pass against the Falcons in the 1970 game at the LA Coliseum as the RAMS marched to a last minute TD to salvage a 10-10 tie?

What Ram RB won a college national championship from a defunct conference?
Jim Bertelsen was a member of a National Champion Texas Longhorns team when the Longhorns were in the Southwest Conference.

Harold Jackson caught four TD passes against Dallas in 1973. Against what other team did he catch four TD passes in 1973?

You got it.

After a stellar 1973 season, Ray missed three crucial field goals against Dallas in the playoff game...He was 3 of 6. If you're the actual David Ray, my apologies, if not, I still remember.

I'm not him. My mother is from from Phenix City, Alabama where she graduated from Central High, the school that Ray also graduated from. As I lay in the floor watching the RAMS getting ready to kick off the 1969 Western Conference championship game against the queens, she and my now late father returned from the commissary and as they were bringing in the groceries and glancing at the TV, she asked me, ' is that the David Ray from Central'. I told her I didn't know but it turned out it was indeed. And yeah, he missed some makeable FG attempts in that 73 playoff game but the thing that I'll never forget is Steve Preece playing the backbreaking TD pass to Pearson soo poorly.

Sure did and was replaced the following year after a few games by Bill Simpson, who was one heck of a Safety. Hadl had an awful game too and that was the beginning of him be traded the following year to Green Bay in favor of James Harris.

Against no other team in 1973. He only caught the 4 vs Dallas. Next highest was 3 vs SF. I'm pretty sure he never caught 4 in a game in any other year with the Rams since that Cowboy game too.

The 1974 Pittsburgh Steelers have the NFL record for future HoFers picked in a single draft at 4. Lynn Swann, Jack Lambert, John Stallworth, and Mike Webster.

For the Rams' single draft that produced the most HoFers in their franchise history, who were the HOF players drafted and in what year?

The question was which other team did he catch 4 TD passes against in 1973.

Tom Fears and Elroy 'Crazy Legs' Hirsch were selected in 1945.

Actually, both he and RCB Eddie McMillan were replaced after they performed an eerily similar rendition of the Pearson play in an upset loss to the aints in N.O., with Al Clark stepping in at corner.

This July 1972 edition of Sports Illustrated (view attachment) features a story about an ex-Ram QB whom was alleged to have been attempting to sell a Rams playbook, resulting in FBI involvement in the investigation. Who was the QB and how many years was he with the Rams?

lol, I remember that guy

i have a question

who was the Rams great OG that pretty much cost us a SB appearance by virtue of a false start at the 1 yard line In the NFCGC in the freezing cold at Minny? (Won’t give the year as this would make an easy question easier)

This is the one penalty I’ll never get over as a Rams fan

He was a great guy, great guard

Yes McMillian came back when CB Charlie Stukes went down with injury before the 75 season along with a 2nd round pick that emerge that year Monte Jackson.

Tom Mack, but when you actually watch the game on YouTube the penalty was called on backup TE Pat Curran.
