Wow down to 2 TEs and I wouldn't play Higbeast in the preseason

I have a feeling we are going to bring in some TEs just to be out there
Any promising talent available out there?
To bad We missed on Jimmy Graham.

Well, this is Ramswire; and Ramswire is Trash. As such, everything it prints should be questioned.

In this case, I see the following comment from Ramswire:
'With Long and Allen not practicing, the Rams only have Tyler Higbee and Brycen Hopkins available at the tight end position.'

My responses were (in order) ... HUH!?! ... followed by ... What the Fuck!?! .... followed by ... Ramswire Sucks! ... followed by ... What about Tight Ends Christian Sims and Nikola Kalinic?!?

I don't think the Rams ‘only have Higbee and Hopkins available' at TE for practice.

Jourdan Rodrigue's tweet about the Rams being thin at TE right now DOES makes sense. Jourdan is NOT Trash ... If two of the Rams' six TEs are unable to practice, that's one-third; and that does make the position thin for the moment. Thereby, raising the possibility of adding a TE for Camp.

From the most optimistic vantage point - perhaps the Rams are only a legitimate LT, solid TE, elite Edge and a shut down CB away from a serious playoff team. I believe the Edge needs to come from a trade. All others via FA or Draft.

"Only" seems to be doing a lot of work here...

Agreed but if anyone can do it it’s McSnead. I’ll be surprised if they don’t make a trade before the 2023 deadline to get their Edge or CB. It would be a giant step in fulfillment of the “only” strategy.

Good point, my guess is that they're gonna wait to see what they have in the young pass rushers and then see if 2 things happen at the trade deadline: 1) We seem capable of a winning record this year 2) If it's a buyers market for a pass rusher, and then they'll try what we did for Brian Burns like last year.

Don't see anything happening otherwise.

Here's your shopping list or the majority of reasonable candidates for the trade deadline at edge. Next years free agents, Others can be targets with another year or so on contract but usually it's the pending free agents that are shopped.

Agreed next years FAs are the normal targets but McSnead arent limited by the normal. As Example the Rams pursued Burns last year.
