Fucking called this move, but even I expected us to give more compensation than what we gave.

Excellent move. McCreary's a solid cornerback, one of the better young ones on the market. Physical, average height, played on a bad Titans team, so we don't really know his fullest potential.

And it could help us potentially get a comp pick from him if he signs a mega contract elsewhere.

Everything to like and nothing to hate about a move like this.

I don't know why you put a "Not So Sure", @BigRamFan ? If you don't like the move, please, by all means, share with the rest of us why you don't, and we'll be understanding.

Is Kendrick still one of the top rated CBs in the NFL?
Not in my opinion.

I know that some like to rely upon PFF but not me.

I did some basic searches and visited a couple sites. Two had the number of times Kendrick had been "Targeted" this year. Both sources had the same number ... 11.
That's eleven targets in seven games. Hardly enough to evaluate his coverage ... in my opinion.
I'm not even impressed with the concept of "Targets" given how different pass coverages reflect different responsibilities. It's not "you cover that guy, and don't let him catch the ball"

Another source (Pre Football Reference) has Kendrick playing 121 defensive snaps thus far in 2025.
That's just 25% of the Seahawks total defensive snaps. It's only 17 snaps per-game.
Again, just not enough to determine whether he is a 'top-rated-CB' ... in my opinion.

I've seen a replay of one of Kendrick's two interceptions this year (Week 2 against the Steelers).
Rogers hit Calvin Austin in the hands. Ball bounced off his hands, up into the air and into Kendrick's hands ... Kendrick was covering Pat Freiermuth on the play ... Freiermuth was open.

I saw everyone of Kendrick's 32 games with the Rams (18 starts and over 1,300 defensive snaps).
In my opinion, he was a weak NFL Cornerback with zero discipline.

I still can't forget his out of control behavior on the final play of the Rams' early-2024 season, must-win game against the Niners. Even in street clothes and on Injured Reserve, Kendrick almost cost the Rams.
