I wouldn't waste a draft pick on punting "competition". They're not all gonna get drafted. Best UDFA will be happy to come to L.A..

Why? Dixon solid punter and was actually one of the few Giant assets. Also Dixon is an excellent holder, plus can pass in punt formation as like Hekker was a High School Quarterback and a very good athlete. Played at Syracuse, so from the neck up, Dixon has something and Dixon has a history with Special Teams Coach Joe DeCamillis plus Dixon is a Ginger.
