No information out yet. His salary last season was a hair under $1 million.
Landman said signing with the Rams was an “easy decision,” reuniting with former Falcons defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake, who’s back in L.A. on Sean McVay’s staff. With his contract officially signed, the details of his deal have been released.

According to Over The Cap, Landman got the veteran minimum from the Rams. He will earn $1.1 million for one season and none of it is guaranteed. His cap hit will be $1.1 million, as well, but the Rams can cut him at any time with no penalty.

OTC has ... At Least ... up-dated for all the Rams' additions and re-signings, except for the Stafford re-structure;

OTC still may not be correct, as it has Kupp's Dead-$ at $22M. If Kupp's release was a post-June 1 designation (as reported), I believe his Dead-$ for 2025 is $15M, with another $7M in 2026. Furthermore, it has recently increased Jonah Jackson's 2025 Dead-$. No idea if that is correct.

Spotrac has been totally fucked-up for two weeks now; and, in my opinion, should be completely ignored until it can figure-out that Cooper Kupp should not count TWICE against the Rams' 2025 salary cap.

For several years, Bret Stuter ('this guy') from Ramblin' Fan has been one of my least-favorite Rams' reporters/columnists.

Routinely throws anything and everything against the wall; and nothing usually sticks.

Kenneth Arthur, JB Scott, Venie Randy Soares and, especially, Blaine Grisak all of SB Nation / Turf Show Times are equally unreliable and useless in my opinion.

There are some good ones out there but these guys ain't among them.

No insight, no contacts and (in my opinion) not much football knowledge. They generate a ton of material, on just about every topic and possibility, with very little holding-up.
Those are some real dumbfucks at SB Nation. They will write any fucking thing just to see it printed. I think they have mentioned about 80 guys now we should take with our 1st rounder. Fucking morons, all of them. Did I say fuck enough, sorry, throwing a couple back right now.

LMFAO & you don’t think Tge Rams are going MLBer early??

This is to add depth & cover there AZZ just in case they don’t get one of there guys.

Who knows- Troy Reeder could be back ?? I wouldn’t even say doubtful if they don’t draft an ILBer early.
Speight has limitations, but he also gave thanks to Troy Reeder as a mentor.IMO though just like Noteboom it’s time to move on & upgrade.

OT - is on my Top of the board as well over CB. - trading back for a TE & or a RB early.- There are also some Top WR talent in the 2nd rd.

-Since we traded & swaped Centers,maybe a 1st for 2nds plus throw in a 6th to Da Bears ??

Anyways let the board fall to you.A CB could even be there that you couldn’t pass on ??

BTW - wanted to trade up for RB- Johnathan Taylor. The next season to trade up for L. Dickerson (c/g).

Jihaad Campbell is a player I could see falling to The Rams.Tampa is supposed to draft him on most Mocks. I can see him falling to The Rams. — You could be 100% right, but I can’t see how The Rams let him get by them.

IMO he fits PERFECTLY & would really be a PLAYER The Rams haven’t had since ? Well since I can’t even remember. Not saying The Rams haven’t had excellent MLBers, but his speed & burst is off the charts for his size .Plus get after QB’s & stir up a lot with The Pass Rush The Rams already have.

Man...8 pages over a LB we signed at the Vet minimum...
That's the Hangover many of us have after watching Reeder and Rozeboom not being able to make enough plays simply because they lack the athleticism to make plays quality off-ball NFL Linebackers need to make.

A unit filled entirely with undrafted free agents will (almost certainly) be weak and exploited.

There are exceptions but the London Fletchers are few and far between ... The last one the Rams had was ... London Fletcher ... And they let him Go!!!

According to Nate Tice, It’s a position where the league values instincts, annd intelligence over athleticism.

The high school and college game is so different from the NFL,. It’s a steep learning curve transitioning to the NFl.

8 pages of So Ramblings about trading up but letting the board fall to you for a position we never pay money for. But hey we know we're trading up but only after we let the board fall to us.

Sorry even when I try to ramble I can't match So Rambling.

I can’t help but imagine how great it would be if one of the Rams off-ball-LBs had instincts and intelligence to know where to be and where to go; AND enough athleticism to GET THERE.

Then I go the Boobies and Booty threads, and my imagination takes me to a totally different place.

Seriously, I’m not talking about high pick or an expensive free agent. Just want an investment of a mid-round draft choice or a moderately priced veteran free agent.
