Great call.
That’s a huge difference.
Not sure about the hash mark width and ball placement.
Don’t they get an extra point if the ball is kicked out of the endzone?

Yeah, most people think I am pretty awesome. :zany::ROFLMAO:

Just ask the dude at RF............. oh never mind, I digress.....:hush::biggrin:

Actually, I kicked FGs in High School. So when it comes to kickers I just may have a different interest than others. Like I grew up in Bakersfield......and sheep......

....moving on.......I could kick the hell out of the thing Tom Dempsey style (RIP) Back then, college used a tee. Without doing the easy google search to find out when they stopped, the Pros did not. So I went out and got a tee that was ground level. (Lord I wished I kept this stuff) And my kicking game went to SHIT!

No shit with the tee, I could go 3 for 10 for 60 yards. Without the tee, I could go 3 for 10 at 30 yards. My dream of being a kicker for the Rams were RUINED!!! Not to mention soccer style for height was quickly coming in style real fast and I tried to do that and was convinced if you didn't have a Latin Surname it was impossible. At the time that was true.

To this day while on a walk, even in the terminal between flights, it is not uncommon to I still think about the approach, and kick. Easy to hide when you were good doing it "Dempsey style". Soccer style would certainly get some looks.

So at any rate, does anyone have any opinion about the Chinese Virus?

I kid, I kid.

I hope all are healthy and happy.

I will call him Bob.
I will call him Quagmire

Sorry a joke that I have with my stepdaughter

When she was 4, she was watching a Cartoon (not Family Guy) where the character's name was Quagmire

Well we kept asking her - what's his name.

And she would go Quag ... Quag... Quag

What's his name

Quag ... Quag

What's his name?

Quag... Quag... BOB!!

So according to this article, Lirim says it’s pronounced:

Hy-roo-la-hoo

I don’t trust announcers to get it right, necessarily. Plenty of announcers have messed up trying to say “Ebukam”...

Hoping Dick Stockton makes a try at it...

Do I think the Rams plan to go with Hajrullahu or MacGinnis?

Maybe. But, I suspect they have a kicker they like in this draft... perhaps 2. These signings are consistent with keeping their options open at every selection.

Harjruullahu has been around a while. It’s not like he’s that obscure. MacGinnis is interesting. Both have decent numbers.

Yeah, I don't think so now, they have added the top kicker in the CFL & XFL unless both of them can't kick threw the uprights in preseason (if there is one) IMO, one of them will be kicking for the Los Angeles Rams come September Morn.

Yeah my dream of being a Center for the Rams ended during Freshman Football when some dude named Carmen Panetta, who weighed 130lbs soak & wet knocked me right on my ass on a LB Blitz. At that point I decided to study harder.

That’s what Les wants you to think.

Wow, his stats look great. Especially given that he often had to kick in bad conditions. Trying to find his splits on FG made by distance, but no luck so far (only found one site which had inaccuracies). He had a crappy 2015, but the next 4 years-- 2016 thru 2019-- were excellent. Here's a good overall view of his stats:
I have his FG splits. Also of note, he has had 5 FGs blocked/deflected (2014 - 45,42 ; 2017 - 47; 2018 - 15; 2019 - 42)

Cool, where did u find these stats?!

Main thing I wanted to look at was the 40-49 stats. We as fans think a kicker should be close to automatic even from this range. Lirim‘s stats are very concerning at 40-49. Only 65% over his career from this range?? And 9-15 last year?

Last 2 years he was 10 for 10 from 50+, but only 21 of 32 from 40-49. Weird.

I have tracked each kick (FG, punt, kickoff, convert) in the CFL for several years now. I have field goal splits for every CFL kicker dating back to 2003.

I also work for the CFL as a member of the game day stats crew in Vancouver. I have access to several statistical reports that are made available to league staff and members of the media.

Note worthy: As a rookie, Lirim Hajrullahu won the place kicking job by beating out Brett Maher.
