I liked Limmer when I watched him at the combine. He was a very fluid mover. I was glad they picked him.The further away we get from the draft, the more I love this pick.
Especially where he was drafted.
Who knows.... sometimes a good player just falls because teams in later rounds start picking for need, and most don't need a center. I think he just got overlooked.I liked Limmer when I watched him at the combine. He was a very fluid mover. I was glad they picked him.
However there is sppparently something that NFL teams didn’t like about his game for him to last this long. I would like to know what it is. To go that late in the draft I’d say the odds are more in favor of him not panning out. Oddly enough he seems too good for that to happen. He’s one of the more interesting players imo.
Look at other teams picks. It seems pretty shallow. Snead just hit on a few that were predicted to go earlier
Seems like the signs of it being a deep ass draft are all around, some just refuse to see them.I liked Limmer when I watched him at the combine. He was a very fluid mover. I was glad they picked him.

There are some technique things. He can lunge and get off balance in pass pro.I liked Limmer when I watched him at the combine. He was a very fluid mover. I was glad they picked him.

It’s definitely more encouraging than the Center depth the Rams have had for the last several years. There are some technique things. He can lunge and get off balance in pass pro.
Played two years at G and one at C.
Some teams may view him as a small G and not a C.
With Jackson, Avila and Dotson in the fold and paid, Limmer will be allowed to develop.
Possible future starter but should improve the interior line depth in the short term.
Being able to have that solid depth piece at C in particular but at both G spots as well for the next four years is a nice feeling.
Now, he just needs to improve his weaknesses with the coaching staff.
Former scout Bryan Broaddus said he was red flagged by some teams due to something medical.I liked Limmer when I watched him at the combine. He was a very fluid mover. I was glad they picked him.

I don't mind McCallister but he is probably, at this point anyway, best served as a PS reserve. It’s definitely more encouraging than the Center depth the Rams have had for the last several years.

Some horsepower in dat trunk. Or would it be hogpower?Damn. Boy is a powerhouse.
I love how that’s a comment we can make regarding our OL these days.Limmer could start for many teams.
