The further away we get from the draft, the more I love this pick.
Especially where he was drafted.
I liked Limmer when I watched him at the combine. He was a very fluid mover. I was glad they picked him.

However there is sppparently something that NFL teams didn’t like about his game for him to last this long. I would like to know what it is. To go that late in the draft I’d say the odds are more in favor of him not panning out. Oddly enough he seems too good for that to happen. He’s one of the more interesting players imo.

Who knows.... sometimes a good player just falls because teams in later rounds start picking for need, and most don't need a center. I think he just got overlooked.
Which makes me think this kid has a role to play in our future. How many times did we see a guy on the OL get injured, only for us to plug the hole with a turnstile??
This kid gives us depth at a sorely needed position, right up the middle, where Stafford needs stoutness the most. If Avila goes down, we badly need some guy to plug that hole until Avila gets back.

Look at other teams picks. It seems pretty shallow. Snead just hit on a few that were predicted to go earlier

Seems like the signs of it being a deep ass draft are all around, some just refuse to see them.

There are some technique things. He can lunge and get off balance in pass pro.
Played two years at G and one at C.
Some teams may view him as a small G and not a C.
With Jackson, Avila and Dotson in the fold and paid, Limmer will be allowed to develop.
Possible future starter but should improve the interior line depth in the short term.
Being able to have that solid depth piece at C in particular but at both G spots as well for the next four years is a nice feeling.
Now, he just needs to improve his weaknesses with the coaching staff.

The more I learn about this guy the more I like the pick. He has a chance to learn and improve his game before stepping in to a starting role and for now may be a valuable backup.

It’s definitely more encouraging than the Center depth the Rams have had for the last several years.

Former scout Bryan Broaddus said he was red flagged by some teams due to something medical.
