They have been using primarily players who have been on the team multiple years. The biggest issues have been at C and Evans, both of which have been players on the team. Injuries suck, but arent the be all end all. When the players who are back ups arent able to play thats on the org.
3 of 5 players on line with over 3 seasons. Its not advantageous but the reality is that the team has had oline issues, seemingly any time Whit was injured
Talking about guys like Anchrum or Kolone as guys who have been on the team for yrs as being a positive is a bit of an exaggeration. Players who never played an NFL snap before and were thrown into the mix and even Anchrum got hurt immediately. And Jackson had only played in one gane before this yr and he got hurt.

Todays lineup...Obushi, Neshke, Skura, Shelton, Havenstein.

Yeah, these guys worked together a lot over the last few yrs.

Don't let Bobby Evans' failures cloud the fact that every game they have had a new OL configuration and have lost 9 guys due to injury. No team survives this.

10th string offensive lineman are not going to be that good... or guys you are signing off the street.

that's why they are working at Wal mart.
3 of 5 guys on the team 53, sorry but if they make the team, they are expected to be able to play.
If they're in their 4th season, or longer, they are really expected to play
The scrubs who have filled in have played as well if not better than Evans and Shelton

Im not talking about Anchrum or Kolone. Evans and Shelton are in their 4th season.
Obushi has outplayed both of those guys.

Shelton has missed most of the season thus far.
And hasnt been good when he's played.
The oline (without Whit) has been an issue with this team for several years now, they've never sufficiently built depth and only invested in an injury prone Noteboom (who's play is arguable) and Havenstein. C has been an issue for years.
Yup, this year has been a train wreck but when you build a foundation made of straw the big bad wolf can blow the house down.
And I have every confidence they'll figure out a way to fix it in the off season

Ok, I am done venting.....
That is supposed to be what this thread is for after all

Same story just about every game this year. No creativity on offense to make up for all the injuries. What do they have to lose ? It’s been the same game plan all year. That alone will get you beat. The defense is another story. I thought there was too much talent to constantly let mediocre QB’s look like hall of famers. They haven’t made a big play since the Atlanta game. Sickening to watch with the so called talent giving up big play after big play. Donald still playing at a high level , but Ramsey hasn’t been anything special. Yes we need him , but he has to make more big plays. He gives up his fair share of big plays. Wagner is a shell of a player that he used to be. He reminds me of JL at the end of his career. Making tackles 8 yards past the LOS.

A vent thread? Can't vent when the whole rest of the season is an experiment. The fact we played decent before Nsekse and Stafford went out is something to be happy about.

Lol.. because he changed the league when it comes to defense. He was coming off a year creating a #1 defense that no one saw coming.
He was also coming off a winning season.

Sell an HC who's coming from a 5-12 team. Good luck.
5 and 12? Lolol

Nobody is 15 deep

I've sort of checked out on this lost season but I can't help but feel terrible for Donald, Kupp and Stafford.

It's a season they will never get back.

Fuck feeling sorry for them.

Stafford got paid $61m this year. Think about that.

AD got paid $46.5m this year.

Kupp got paid $30m this year.

I'm not fucking feeling sorry for them. Fuck that.
