Prepare, folks because Perkins or Wolford, we’re not winning another game with either one. We’re not scoring more than 10 pts with either one.

Im not even mad, anymore, just disappointed.

For the rest of the season, we’re revisiting the end of 2016 (except I hope we keep the HC)
Exactly this. I don't even care if we lose every game to end the season, I just want the young guys to get some reps and see what who we can salvage for next season. It's evident, at least to a casual fan like me, that we're going to need to blow up this roster in the offseason and really re-think the approach to next season because neglecting the offensive line, continuing to be bottom of the NFL in rushing and no creativity in our playbook isn't working.

This has been the most depressing season in a long time.. at least in some of the other bad seasons since the 80;s I expected us to suck.

this has been a gut punch over and over... none of us expected something this extreme.

Specifically, who on the O-line played poorly? Keep in mind, despite the injuries (with several players whom have significant injury history) the Rams rolled out Shelton, Evans and Havenstein who each have been with the team for more than 3 seasons.
If guys cant play, they shouldnt be on the roster.
Perkins? Fun to watch but what a joke that a SB winning team has 2 UDFA QB on the roster, neither of which are starting NFL caliber, but on the other side the back up QB for the Saints destroyed us. The RB room? The whole Akers fiasco? TE? Hopkins still taking a spot on the 53 despite his "troubles" and he of 2 career reg season catches in his 3rd season.
Winning may cure everything but losing sure points out what is wrong

Our defense is good. Our anemic offense is making the defense look worse than they are.

I kind of understand how many holes appear to be real when 95% of the problem is the o-line. It is so bad it makes headlines. Ten games, ten different groups starting. Pretty bad.

Teams lose their shit when they lose one starting lineman. Haven't we lost like nine? I think Havenstein is the only starter we have on the line and several deep from starting on at least three of the other o-line positions?

Pretty obvious to me.

The defense was solid early in the season - lately it's been bad as well.

Yeah I think because our offense has got worse as time has gone on as well.

Easy for stats to go sideways when you are carrying the weight during the game.

That was the case in some games... today though I can't say that's what happened.

Offense goes on an 87 yard drive to take the lead at the half -

Start of the 2nd half defense lets them march right down the field

For most of the game the vaunted andy Dalton had a 158.3 passer rating.

Andy Dalton finished the game with the best passer rating in his career.
Cut Wolford bring in a project QB who can actually sling it. The season is done, lets trot out some new blood and see who is what.

Not even close.
Blaming the oline is merely a red herring.
This team has many more issues than that.
And that’s why I have the faith that the same front office I blame will do what’s necessary to make the wholesale changes needed.
Take 9 OL off any team and tell me they would have a winning record after 10 games.

I am not saying everything else is perfect, but the difference between being 3-7 or 7-3 or even 6-4, is almost entirely on the OL. Hell, losing 3 of your top 8 OL would be a bad yr injury wise for an OL.

They have lost 9 offensive linemen to injury...their off the street signings are now getting hurt. It's laughable at this point.

Seems pretty clear.

When you have a complete collapse.. interdependent systems will not hold up.

They have been using primarily players who have been on the team multiple years. The biggest issues have been at C and Evans, both of which have been players on the team. Injuries suck, but arent the be all end all. When the players who are back ups arent able to play thats on the org.
3 of 5 players on line with over 3 seasons. Its not advantageous but the reality is that the team has had oline issues, seemingly any time Whit was injured

I find it impossible to defend either the offense or defense this season. I would've liked to at least have stayed competitive despite injuries.

10th string offensive lineman are not going to be that good... or guys you are signing off the street.

that's why they are working at Wal mart.
