We are basing our opinions on what we see in preseason games, right?

McVay gets to see practice.

I’ve got to believe that he is making his decisions on what he sees when we can’t see.

And Landry Jones has more than his share of bad tape.

There's been a lot of smoke that McVay isn't happy with what he has in Mannion. But we've had bigger priorities to this point. As for Jones, he has good and bad tape in REAL games. He's shown himself to be a competent enough backup to handle a few games if needed.

Their is value in Bridgewater as he is a viable NFL starter and the Saints havr a QB that will be collecting social security soon. Teddy is a possible succssor to Brees which is a huge factor.

That said, I want Kyle Sloter, go get him.
The saints traded for a guy on a 1 year deal. He’s not the successor. And this kid Hill has had a good preseason. Brees doesn’t miss games but still they wanted to be backed up

I don't know why, but I'm really interested in seeing Perez. I don't expect him to be great or anything, but he's a man of mystery right now.

I think Bridgewater might be the successor. Won't be surprised if they find a way to keep him.

Hodge is killing me with his route running. I'm telling you, that's a kid you put on the PS and develop.

They are certainly not going to commit to Teddy long term without kicking the tires in practice, but he has the potential to take over for Drew. That is the point. That is a different equation then what Rams are considering.

Cooper is an All Pro returner, and Thomas is one of the NFL's best gunners. When you're that good on STs, less is needed of you at WR.
If Hodge is a decent Special Teams and an outstanding WR, I'd rather have him.

Good to see Allen tuck that away. One early mistake, at least he learned from it and didn't do something stupid there.

This Saints crew is horrible. They whine about one of their guys being held on almost every defensive play.

I don’t know, teddy is a starter. And a good one. I see him looking for a starter deal next spring. Brees is still getting 25 mill next year. Tough to fit them both under the cap. Will see

But he's not an outstanding WR. He could develop into something, but he's nowhere close yet. Meanwhile, we already have three studs at WR, a talented young player in Reynolds, and a couple special teams monsters. You don't make a guy who needs a lot of WR development your 6th WR if he's not a strong STer.

Allen isn’t very good.
Looking forward to the 2nd half and see what the Big Ern has to show us

But how do we know this? All I see is a guy when given the opportunity, make outstanding plays (Hodge). What makes you think he's all that developmental when while watching him catch contested balls? The top three guys are untouchable, this I know....But we are trusting in Reynolds and Thomas to eventually do on the field, what Hadge has done already this preseason. I don't know what else Hodge could do, to impress you if you aren't already..

Peyton is a piece of shit. We need to slaughter them this year.
