Sure, the Rams can get a RB later in the draft. But, Gibbs in not just another RB. Gibbs is a weapon. Like Marshall Faulk, Gibbs can line up wide like a receiver and torch defenders. He's a MAJOR MATCHUP problem for opposing defenses and could open things up for everyone on offense.

That said, the loss of Floyd makes his selection very unlikely. now, But, iMO, only Edge defenders Will McDonald IV (Iowa State) or maybe Felix Anudike-Uzomah (Kansas State) should be considered at #36 besides him. Otherwise, I hope Snead is able to trade down.
Faulk is a good comp for him. Though I think Faulk in college was a better runner and had that knack of finding seams to go.

Another good comp for him is Kamara. Probably the best one for him but either way when you're being compared to guys like that you're doing something right lol.

Ideally, I'd love to see the Rams select Gibbs in the 2nd round and follow it up with another matchup problem in FB Hunter Luepke later in the draft. Imagine these two in the backfield and then Gibbs motions out wide. Who is going to cover him?

With the FB on the field defenses would almost have to keep an extra LB and not a nickel DB on the field. Not only is this passing game matchup problematic for defenses, but once they get that extra body out of the box, Luepke could also be rushing option forcing business decision by defenders. And he'd be an asset in the passing game, too.

I love Luepke. Hate his name but love the player. He is one of those guys who will go late and be a quality role player in the NFL. I am hoping we take him.

One of the YT scouts was saying he had Charbonnet as his RB2, not Gibbs as the track record of all purpose backs over 6’ 210# is VERY good. I’ll link it if I can find it
I believe it. Charbonnet is a stud. It's just that every year I hope they take someone like him and they never do. The bastids.

Come on man! This look like a Busch Light living room? This is either a Corona or wine spritzer set up! Encino has ruined him it seems.

Quite a few scouts share that same opinion

Yes Gibbs is a matchup problem with his pass-catching ability but he is more like CMC or Ekeler size-wise. Kamara was 215 and Faulk was 210

I say Kamara because of the combination of quicks plus body control. In play style and projecting him they are similar I think.

First time I saw Kamara it was a catch he made on a highlight and I thought to myself "damn." Gibbs is very much the same, to my eye at least.

Cabernet sauvignon is not a Sweet Wine.
Sweeter than a Chianti or a Pinot noir. Not as sweet as port or a Jewish kiddush wine.

I’m trying to help him develop a palate. Cabernet is a good place to start.

It’s a copycat league. The reality is there wI’ll be a run on DE through the first round into the early second. You can not expect to beat Mahomes, Allen, Hurts, Burrow and the like without pressure. The experts write their opinions just like some of us on here do… hey @Loyal what are you up to today?
