A little surprised with the Kush cut. Has Rhaney really developed that much?

Yes, Rhaney outplayed him and was running with the two's against the Broncos & started against the Vikings. Rhaney is not a guard, but does a great job at getting to the next level as a center, they cut the right guy.

What I really liked about Hemingway was is the way he runs very smooth & has some speed. I saw his drops too but I see something here with him. 4th rd draft selection rookie Tyler Higbee has not anything since his first game or for that matter done that much better IMO. I say that if they keep Hemingway its going to be fun watching him develop.
He looks like a huge WR, he's fluid, he blocks his ass off. I can see him on teams, and once he gets assimilated, I can see him being a matchup nightmare. His hands don't look bad to me. I think his dropsies, are nerves, speed of the game type stuff.

As far as blocking, and route running, he has really improved in a short time. The coaches probably love that.

In fairness I felt that both Donnal & Rhaney played really well in preseason and both look much stronger after a year under Strength & Conditioning coaches Rock Gullickson & J. Aggabao.

Spruce making the cut comes as no surprise. In his limited time he has shown reliability in his hands and getting the first down. The injury was unfortunate, but he, along with Higbee, are going to major pieces for this offense once Goff getst he starting nod. By then, these guys should be much more acclimated to game speed.

Thomas not being cut is also no shocker. Remember, he was one of our draft picks. It would look really bad if we let go a guy we invested a draft pick in, unless of course he committed an absolute bonehead personal conduct.

Quick not being cut, in my opinion, is Snead trying to save face from his first draft. Cut ties already, get over his size, and move on. Let's just say this, I have a friend who nearly made the final roster back during FIsher's first draft who informed me a lot of inside scoop of that initial draft class. I'll just say that Quick and Pead shared a common recreational habit that, while accepted by many, would not be tolerated if Goodell find out, if you catch my drift. According to my buddy, Quick put in the work but came off like a dim light bulb and allowed this habit to get in the way of his success, much like Pead. True story FWIW.

... Bummed about Kush tho, if he could get his snaps corrected I thought he would be a shoe-in. Great character guy for the team who kept things lite in the room. Unfortunate..

Liking these cuts so far for the most part.
I do hope we can get Fox, and Seau back on our PS. I'd love to see those guys with a year of pro nutrition, and strength training. We are just so stacked on the DL, and at DE.
